How to use it?

Some previous users found the foundation a little complicated, so here is your guide to a quick and easy foundation application.

Depress the dropper to release the foundation. 1-2 measured drops should cover the whole face but can be built up if needed.

Apply the foundation in the centre of the face and, using a brush, blend it out. If you don't already have a brush, you can purchase Surratt's Artistique Foundation Brush. With a stiffer bristle, it makes the application a much easier process.

While applying your first layer of foundation, the dew drop dispenser will be refilled and ready.

Brush or fingers?

When applying your foundation, it all comes down to the result you want to achieve. Here are a few reasons to prefer using a brush to apply your makeup:

• Higher coverage: When using a brush, the product layers the skin equally, resulting in better coverage.
• Time saver: Using a brush will save you from getting your hands dirty and cleaning them repeatedly.
• Hygiene: Using a brush is much more hygienic.

My Review

After recently finishing my foundation, I was looking for a more natural finish to my skin. With summer coming up, I wanted a fresh, dewy glow and no more cakey, thick foundations.

The Dew Drop foundation is fun to use and looks beautiful. The foundation is lightweight yet long-lasting, perfect for oily combination skin types. I applied their foundation using a brush, and my skin was flawlessly corrected. It didn't budge all day long, even in my greasier zones. Dew Drop is exceptionally comfortable to wear and blends out in seconds. For my medium skin with golden undertones, shade 9 suits my skin perfectly.

One thing that I would modify is the dispenser. The drop release system helps you save wasted products, but it can be frustrating for those who want higher coverage. If you rush in the morning, you may have better choices. However, I am happy with it.

Surratt Dew Drop Foundation is excellent and gives the skin a natural dewy finish. It works great with my other branded products, and I will continue using it for the summer and look forward to discovering more from Surratt.

By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Foundation is a very lightweight hydrating foundation. The texture of the foundation is runny and a few drops are required to achieve the needed coverage. As advised by the brand, 2 drops for sheer coverage, 4 drops for medium coverage, and 6 drops for full coverage. I use 2-3 drops and I get a nice sheer to medium coverage. I do not need the feel of more as it does blur out my problem areas while looking very natural at the same time. It applies very well with fingertips as well as a brush.

Packaging & Shades

The foundation comes in a frosted glass bottle that has a teardrop shape. There is a dropper to dispense the foundation. The foundation is available in a wide shade range covering all undertones. I have swatched medium skin tones for your reference:

• 300W – Medium fair with warm undertones
• 400C – Medium with cool undertones
• 400N – Medium with neutral undertones
• 400W – Medium with warm undertones (my shade)

I feel it is light and fresh on the skin. As the day goes on, it looks more radiant and dewy. It does not look oily at all. Despite being a hydrating foundation, it stays put together even on the oily areas of my combination skin like the sides of the nose. The longevity is pretty impressive.

By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Foundation blurs the problem areas on my skin like dark spots, fine lines, and pigmentation. It does not accentuate dry areas on the skin. The added benefit is that it provides sun protection with SPF30. Overall, the skin looks smooth, radiant, fresh, healthy, and supple. Moreover, it feels very comfortable on the skin, more like a second skin. I am reaching out for it every day, definitely a new favorite.

Tool-Expert Stencil Foundation Brush

Tool-Expert Stencil Foundation Brush is a liquid makeup brush. The bristles are very soft and densely packed. It does not irritate my skin. There is a hollow center on the brush that retains the product for even application and coverage. I think this is a very interesting and unique feature I have not seen in any other brush. So when I am not using my fingertips to apply the foundation, I simply put two drops of the foundation on the hollow center with the dropper. Then, I apply directly on my skin and blend while applying. It truly works as it claims. Even application and very easy to apply and blend.
