Why A Neck Cream?

While many will argue that the same skincare can be used for your face and neck, the truth is, the skin on your neck is a little firmer. And tougher skin requires a tougher product! Yes, it’s true. You can use the same skincare on your face, neck, and décolletage. But if a saggy neck is something you want to tackle, or battle before it begins, go with a product that contains targeted ingredients. I tried RéVive Fermitif Neck Renewal Cream, and I found it quite impressive.

First Impressions

On first impressions, I was seriously loving the light rose scent of this product. It felt super luxurious and calming on my (occasionally) sensitive skin. What I also love about this, is that it is a treatment for loose neck skin, as well as a preventative product. It also contains a broad spectrum SPF 15, so when it’s on the skin, it helps prevent damage from UVA and UVB rays.

The cream is powered by RES technology, which is exclusive to the brand. It helps firm and tighten the skin, as well as boost elasticity. It’s also packed with hyaluronic acid, which helps to hydrate and nourish the skin from within. There’s also a high percentage of peptides in this formulation, an ingredient that helps boost collagen. According to the brand, the neck cream assists with cell turnover in the skin and helps it to resist gravity.

So, what did I think? Well, although the gorgeous scent was enough to sell it to me, my skin did actually see some benefits. After a couple of weeks of use, I found that the skin on my neck felt and looked tauter. It also felt a lot smoother, thanks to the hydration my neck was getting from the hyaluronic acid.

This product is expensive. Admittedly, it’s a lot to spend on a ‘non-must-have’ product. But for me now, a neck cream is a must-have. I no longer think of it as a glorified moisturizer. It’s one of those products that I didn’t know I needed until I tried it! It’s good to know that the targeted skin-loving ingredients are helping to keep my neck looking firm and young. I tend to apply Fermitif Neck Renewal Cream in the morning, and sometimes in the evening, too. I apply it before my day begins as it adds a little more SPF to my neck, which will help protect it throughout the day. If I’m feeling my skin needs a little more TLC than usual, I will wear it overnight, too!

For my face, I am enjoying the newest moisturizer Sensitif Repairing Night Cream that calms and soothes my skin while reducing redness. It also hydrates and nourishes the skin. For the eyes, Masque Des Yeux has become a staple of my bi-weekly skincare routine. It helps with puffiness also and helps my eye area look firm and nourished.
