My Review

The placenta has numerous benefits for our skin, and I wanted to try out Biologique recherche's “mimicking active”. This product spiked my interest from the moment I saw it. The serum has a water-like texture that rapidly penetrates the skin. After applying it daily for over a month, my skin started to show results. It is now much softer and has a smoother texture. My imperfections are still present, but the discomfort I had is reduced.

I recommend this serum to those who wish to target the results of acne scarring or hyperpigmentation. The serum is a softer approach compared to the more known correcting serums that contain acids. Another great thing about this serum is that it doesn't add oil to the skin or cause clogging of the pores. I will continue to use this serum, along with another favourite in my daily routine, and my regular moisturizer.

My Review

Having suffered with a combined skin type most of my life, I am no stranger to the shiny forehead and chin. After trying multiple “miracle” promising products, I was unsure what to expect from this brand.

The serum has a great, water-like texture that quickly penetrates the skin. My skin immediately felt fresh, and I could see the difference after a couple of weeks. My skin was clearer and looked way smoother than before. Tighter pores reduce sebum and, with it, longer-lasting makeup.
