India is the largest home for leopards and tigers outside of Africa. But these big cats are losing their habitat due to multiple reasons. The main reason is population growth causing less land for the species in the Java Region of Rajasthan, India. Chantecaille’s proceeds from the purchase of these eyeshades go to supporting the Sujan Project. The Sujan Project concentrates its efforts on re-wilding farmland that connects wildlife corridors. The project has restored more than 38 square miles of habitat so far.

Luminescent Eye Shades – India's Vanishing Species

Luminescent Eye Shades are one of my most reached out to eyeshades for every day as well as for special occasions. I have reviewed all the shades of it in the past and it is hard for me to pick a favorite. Since I started using the two new limited edition shades that are part of the Fall 2021 collection, I have fallen in love with them. The shades are truly unique and stunning. They definitely brighten up the fall. The formula is very lightweight, smooth, and fine, it applies and blends beautifully. The formula is buildable from sheer to medium.

The pearlescent, light-catching eyeshadow formula washes the eye with a beautiful multi-dimensional shimmer. It is not chunky and very fine. Both the shades in Chantecaille Fall 2021 collection are inspired by India's green jungles and rocky mountain habitats of endangered tigers and leopards. The packaging case is very well made and aligns with the overall color and focus on India's Vanishing species. The rich and vibrant shades work well when used dry as well as wet. I have used it on the eyelids as well as on the lower lash line, it is truly stunning. The longevity is impressive. There is no fallout and the shade stays put.

The two shades are:

• Leopard – a wild bronze, more like a cool toned metallic brown. It looks stunning
• Tiger – a regal emerald, this shade of green is truly unique, more like suns rays falling on the peacocks feathers

Both the eyeshades have horizontal stripes. Every other stripe is a satin shade or shimmering one. The shades apply with the flat eyeshadow brush as well as with the fingers. I have noticed it to be more intense when applied with a finger.

Lip Chic

Lip Chic is not new to me. I absolutely adore this formula of lipsticks from Chantecaille. Chantecaille Fall 2021 limited edition Collection has 5 shades of this bestselling formula in limited edition packaging. The formula is super lightweight and smooth. The glossy lipstick is very hydrating and comforts the lips. Now that it is fall and winter is on the way, it is my go-to lip product. It nourishes and softens the lips while providing color to them. Lip is comfortable while looking supple and youthful. The glossy finish is not sticky at all, it feels silky and applies evenly. It glides on nicely on the lips with a nice color payoff.

• Jarul – cool rosy pink
• Damask – sheer black cherry
• Lantana – peachy nude
• Red Juniper – classic red berry

Eye Kajal

Chantecaille Fall 2021 Collection has an eye kajal. It is a classic eye-defining pencil. The richness of the pigment is truly impressive. It is gentle on my sensitive eyes, even on the waterline. The formula glides smoothly and evenly giving a nice rich pigment. I am really impressed with the formula. Moreover, the formula is infused with soothing aloe vera and safflower seed oil for a smoothing effect. The shade is a true black. I love a good black eyeliner. It has become a staple in my everyday routine along with the other products in this collection.

Chantecaille Africa’s Vanishing Species Set pays tribute to six of Africa's most endangered, vanishing species. This first-exclusive set for eyes is an addition to the permanent philanthropy collection. As a result, Chantecaille will give back to six African wildlife conservation nonprofits selected by the brand for their notable impact.

Africa’s Vanishing Species Set – Packaging & What is Inside?

Chantecaille Africa’s Vanishing Species Set has six Luminescent Eye Shades. The eyeshades are housed in a keepsake box. In addition, there is an eye brush that accompanies the eyeshades. The eye brush is perfect to blend and diffuse the eyeshades. Inside the keepsake box, all the eyeshades aka eyeshadows have their own sturdy and cute little boxes. Similarly, each eyeshade has a picture of the endangered animal that a specific eyeshade supports. Also, the packaging is very handy to travel with.

My Thoughts On Luminescent Eye Shades

Luminescent Eye Shades are super soft and lightweight eye shadows. It gives a sheer wash of colour to the eyelids. It is easily buildable to intense colour. In addition, the eyeshades work both dry or wet. Depending on the finish and intensity required, I use them dry or wet. A single swipe of colour imparts a sheer wash of pigment. Whether dry or wet, I have not experienced any creasing or fallout. The formula is very comfortable on the lids. Also, the longevity is impressive.

The shade range of Luminescent Eye Shades is pretty impressive. The shades in this set suit most skin tones. Together, the shades and formula are so unique and beautiful. The shades are perfect everyday shades depending on the mood. Also, there is a subtle hint of micro-shimmer that makes the eyes sparkle. In other words, they are perfect for a natural everyday look or a soft glamourous look if worn dry.

Overall, I am in love with these eye shades in Africa’s Vanishing Species Set. A point to note is that it is not the first time I am using these. I have few shades in my everyday makeup routine since last year. Apart from these six shades, I do love the shade Crane (Smokey Burgundy) and Zebra (Rose Gold). In conclusion, I highly recommend you to check this set or you can check individual Luminescent Eye Shades too. In addition, I recently started using the Future Skin Cushion Skincare Foundation. It is my everyday natural radiant foundation.

For Holiday 2020, Luminescent Eye Shade has two new shades Crane (Smokey Burgundy) and Zebra (Rose Gold). Above all, every single shimmery Chantecaille Luminescent Eye Shade echoes the earthy beauty of African wildlife. Also, it helps to support endangered species across the continent. I love the gel-powder formula with the beautifully soft texture of Luminescent Eye Shade.

They are infused with pearl particles. Thus, making the eyeshadow even more beautiful with its light-catching feature that washes the eye with multi-dimensional shimmer. The eyeshadow has a cream-like finish. Also, it is easily buildable from a sheer day look to an intense look for the evening. This velvety matte lip formula is very comfortable and not drying at all. Overall, the formula has a nourishing and creamy feel to it.

The formula of Chantecaille Le Matte Stylo is very pigmented, does not smudge, and longevity is impressive. Below are the four shades:

Luminescent Eye Shades are a part of Africa's Vanishing Species Collection. The collection of rich, pearlescent eye shadows is inspired by six beautiful creatures. They are cheetah, elephant, giraffe, lion, pangolin and rhinoceros—that are among Africa’s most endangered. All of these wild animals face common threats from shrinking habitats, conflict with local communities, and the illegal wildlife trade. Chantecaille is supporting six charities across the continent. From Namibia to Kenya, to help secure a future for these vulnerable species and the people who live near them. Out of the total 6 shades, I have 3 shades that I have swatched and detailed below.

Luminescent Eye Shades

Luminescent Eye Shades are pearlescent, light-catching eyeshadow that washes the eye with multi-dimensional shimmer. The eyeshades apply well with the flat side of the Shade and Sweep Eye Brush. That creates a shimmering wash of colour on the eyelid. Similarly, the tapered side works well to blend and highlight the inner corner of the eye and the brow bone. They also work well both dry and wet. Depending upon how much intensity you want and what finish you are looking for. The formula applies well, did not fall off during the time after applied and set. The longevity is nice. A single dry swipe is good enough to give a little hint of shimmer and colour. Also, it is easily buildable to a more intense finish. Moreover, the embossing and packaging of the eyeshades are definitely gorgeous and feel related to the cause.

Pangolin – Dusky Lilac shade. ‘The pangolin is a shy, unique creature and is the most trafficked mammal on the planet. It is coveted for its keratin scales, which are falsely believed to have medicinal properties. The Tikki Hywood Foundation in Zimbabwe focuses on the rescue, rehabilitation and release of the pangolin. And also other illegally traded animals across Africa.'

Cheetah – Warm Champagne. ‘90% of the world’s cheetah population has vanished in the last century. Based in Namibia, Cheetah Conservation Fund is helping the planet’s fastest mammal win its race for survival. That is by developing conservancies and teaching farmers how to manage goats and sheep with livestock guarding dogs. And by doing so humans and animals can thrive together.‘

Lion – Golden copper. ‘Kenya-based Lion Guardians transform Maasai warriors who once killed lions into lion protectors, using their traditional knowledge and new technologies like GPS to monitor lions and protect communities. This empowers local people with both a sense of kinship with lions and the means to participate in their conservation.‘

Shade and Sweep Eye Brush

Shade and Sweep Eye Brush is a new launch from Chantecaille which works pretty well with the Luminescent Eye Shades. It is a unique, tapered brush designed for applying the new eye shades. The exceptional quality and cutting-edge fibres are beyond soft vegan bristles. In addition, they are engineered to hug the eyelids comfortably, pick up precise amounts of product and give exceptional payoff. Above all, it does not irritate the delicate eye area and is so soft.

Lip Veil

Lip Veil is a very lightweight lipstick that glides on the lips easily. It provides nourishment along with a coat of pure, bold luminous colour. It is infused with FairWild and organic Baobab oil and leaves lips feeling incredibly smooth and soft. The formula is so beautiful, so smooth, creamy, and never dries out my lips. The pigment is medium-sheer and buildable to full with 2-3 swipes. Overall, the shades are beautiful as is the packaging. It has definitely become one of my go-to lip formulas. It keeps my lips comfortable and smooth while giving a luminous colour to them.

I have swatched the shades which I have on rotation. It is hard to choose a favourite, surprisingly they all suit my very well with my skin tone.

• Firstly, Protea – A warm, wearable red
• Azalea – A muted berry rhubarb
• Rock Rose – A subdued, burnt berry
• Tamboti – A warm, wearable nude
• Lastly, Baobab – A tawny, mocha peach

Cheek Gelée

Cheek Gelée is a hydrating liquid gel-cream blush. It combines the freshness of an emulsion with the lasting power of a stain. It is sheer yet has vibrant pigments that add instant colour and luminosity for a radiant, youthful glow. The shade ‘vibrant‘ is a flirty raspberry shade. Above all, the formula is very creamy and blends like a dream. It gives a beautiful hint of colour to the cheeks along with luminosity. I apply a small amount onto the face using fingertips and blend out. Also, it works perfectly with Chantecaille Lip Veil for an everyday natural look.

Overall, it is hard for me to choose a favourite. The new launches including Chantecaille Lip Veil have definitely become a part of my everyday makeup. In conclusion, beautiful formulas and amazing causes. I highly recommend you to check these out.
