Essence is an effective multi-benefit skincare step. I use it after cleansing, balancing, and applying targeted serums. And before the emulsion or moisturizer. This water-like facial essence is actually a concentrated, gently astringent serum. It works to refine and hydrate skin while absorbing excess oil. The essence is gently patted into the skin so that the product absorbs. Thus, diminish visible pores, even after other serums have been applied. This step has been game-changing in my skincare routine.

Essential Refining Essence is a fresh cooling serum that unclogs pores and reduces surface roughness upon application. It leaves skin thoroughly refined and beautifully matte, with a texture that is exquisitely smooth and radiant.

I have been using this essence for the last few weeks, it has a watery smooth texture. The purple water applies nicely to the skin. It absorbs quickly giving a quick bounce and mattifying effect to the skin instantly. After few uses, I have already noticed minimal breakouts with a noticeable difference in the pore size. Apart from that, it also keeps my skin clear, smooth, my oily areas on the face are in control. It feels refreshingly cool on the skin.
