Cle de Peau Beaute Holiday 2019 called Kimono de Rêve Collection or Kimono Dream Collection is a limited edition collection inspired by the art form of traditional Japanese dress – the kimono. For the 2019 holiday season, Clé de Peau Beauté has collaborated with master kimono-maker, Kyoto Tachibana, renowned for the use of the Surigata-Yuzen* method of dyeing colours and stencilled motifs onto a single sheet of silk.

The kimono, made exclusively for Clé de Peau Beauté, sparking products in shades that express the qualities hidden inside every woman: passion, strength, charm and gentleness. Inside each product's packaging, a Bijin-Ga: a painting of a woman wearing one of the kimono. Artist Ayana Otake's interpretation of Bijin-Ga – Japanese paintings of women that depict their inner and outer beauty. In harmony with the seasons. Expressing an emotion. Capturing an aspect of her inner self. Deep in the dream, each kimono represents.

Refining Pressed Powder – Blooming Cherry

Kimono Dream collection comprises of best-selling Clé de Peau Beauté products reimagined for the holiday season in limited edition packaging. Focusing on inner beauty, the collection is designed to express the many facets of a modern woman’s radiance. The packaging is inspired by tatou*, each item in the collection is presented in a box with intricate folds. When opened, it reveals a depiction of the kimono inside. Symbolic of the beauty within. Echoing the folds and layering of the kimono itself, each box is surrounded by a sleeve with the pattern of an obi sash**. Each package, representative of extraordinary craftsmanship of Japanese traditional dress.

The Lip Color – Lipstick in limited edition shade 511 Silk Passion and Lipstick Cashmere in 512 Red Passion – I love the formula of both the lipsticks – nourishing, pigmented, and longevity is great.

The eyeshadow – Limited edition Eye Color Quad with three shades of shadow and a deep black eyeliner. It has a beautiful formula that blends nicely, and no fallout noticed with the formula.

The Powder – Refining Pressed Powder 101 – A limited edition rosy powder with a delicate, translucent finish. I like how finely milled this powder is, gives a beautiful radiance to the complexion.

Lipstick Cashmere – Red Passion

The Oil – Radiant Multi-Repair Oil – A luxurious face oil for face and body – for even-textured plump skin. I have not tried this oil yet but have heard great things.
