The pencils have been released in 6 shades, ranging from beige, pink, and brown to more vivid shades. Matching to perfection with the new lipstick collection (review here), the liners have a semi-matte finish.

Another success for Cle de peau was being able to offer true-to-life colours. Using highly pigmented products in an Argan Oil enriched formula, the pencils contain Vitamin E for long-lasting moisture.

2 in 1: brush and liner

The lip liner collection was well-designed. The pencils are double-sided and contain a liner pencil and a lipstick brush. Depending on your desired look, you can use the brush to blend out your pencil or apply your lipstick afterwards. Which is particularly handy when it comes to darker or more vivid shades.

Refillable

The lip liner pencil is an all-around winner, saving you money and reducing plastic use. The lip liner pencil holder can be refilled with a cartridge of high-pigmented lip contour pencils. This is great as buying the pencil at 65$, your refill will only cost you 30$.

My Review

Curious about trying out the new liners, I selected two shades: n.1 Beige and n.2 Pink. These shades are soft and give off a naturally defined lip shape. Also, they are perfect for an everyday makeup style or for those who like a more discreet lip.

One thing I noticed immediately was the glide they had when being applied. Silky, smooth and lightweight, you will forget you are wearing lipstick. The liner creates a sharp contour, perfect for bolder shades like red or pink. The liners don’t leave a thick layer, so they are super comfortable, and I even tried a complete lip look. The brush was so much easier to use than my stick lipstick and saved you some product in the long run.
