The 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain collection comprises 19 original products, all sharing the same woody fragrance. Behind this scent is a lifelong story. It is said to replicate the odour of the first Diptyque boutique. The range of products diffuses a fresh, green, almost moss-like note using raw materials. Diptyque used a mix of crushed blackcurrant leaves, floral notes, fragrant spices and the richness of woods and balms to obtain this unique and nose-tingling scent.

Amongst the collection, I have selected 2 amazingly unique and different options: The diffuser and the insert. So let's get to know these bad boys a little more.

34 Boulevard Saint-Germain Home Fragrance Diffuser

Starting with one of the most recent additions to the collection. The diffuser is not only a home scent but a work of art. Captured inside this beautiful case are rattan reeds. The oval glass holder is designed to resemble the emblematic shape of the Maison. This is how your fragrance will be diffused.

The diffuser is perfect for larger spaces and releases Diptyque's signature scent throughout the day. Another plus is that once you have finished the original scent, you recharge or change the fragrance.

The set includes A glass bottle, 200ml 34 Boulevard Saint- Germain fragrance refill, six rattan reeds as well as a funnel.

34 Boulevard Saint-Germain Insert

For the lovers of Diptyque's unique scent, you can now enjoy it on the go. Diptyque designed multiple cartridges that you can insert into any “”Un air”” diffuser. Be aware that the cartridges and the diffuser are sold separately. Also, check out my detailed review of the lectric diffuser here.

With a complete collection of 7 fragrances, the 34 Boulevard Saint- Germain can now be enjoyed: at home or in the car. Each cartridge slides into a diffuser and offers 40 continuous or 80 1-hour diffusion cycles. This means you can manually activate or deactivate the diffusers at any time. My Experience

I adore Diptyque's fragrances, but this scent sparked my interest. I tried both products for over a week and have a personal favourite. If you are a lover of woody, earthy aromas, look no further, this is the scent for you. The home fragrance diffuser is perfect for perfuming a larger space like a living space or dining area. It releases the scent slowly throughout the day. Gentle but consistent, this is the easiest way to give your home extra comfort.

I used the insert in my electric wall diffuser. Discreet and simple to use, I installed this in my bedroom. The diffuser has a pre-programmed cycle, so no worries if you forget to turn it off. I recommend a 1-hour cycle as the fragrance is a long-lasting scent.

With a highly sophisticated design, the diffusers are plug-in devices ideal for any space. Easy to use, the diffuser is activated by a single touch and can run pre-programmed cycles of around 3 hours. Enjoy up to seven stunning iconic Diptyque scents.

When purchasing the diffuser, make sure also to select your fragrance, as the diffuser itself does not come with one.

The Inserts

Now you have your Electric Wall Diffuser, it's time to select your favourite scent. With a life span of 40 hours continuously and 80 diffusion cycles ( 1 hour), the inserts are priced at 50$.

Choosing a wide choice of their best-selling scents, Diptyque left us spoilt for choice:

• Fruit lovers

-BERRIES: The freshness of a bouquet of roses enlaced with sweet blackcurrant leaves. This scent awakens your interior with a burst of juicy freshness.

• Wood lovers

-34 BOULEVARD SAINT GERMAIN: This well-known scent shares the story of the brand's historic store. Made up of green accords, mosses, blackcurrant leaves and sun-dried fig leaves.

-AMBRE: This fragrance is like a warm hug as you walk into your home. Its rich balance of vetiver and patchouli is spiced up with aniseed, insolent spices, incense, cistus and Tonka bean. Ambre is ideal for winter.

• Floral lovers

-ORANGE BLOSSOM: The sweet, tarty scent of Orange blossom brings me back to the summer evenings. Composed of: Bark, leaves and citrus fruit, the insert takes you on a journey from root to leaf.

-ROSE: Queen of the flowers, these fresh and flowery notes of rose bushes are sure to make your space blossom.

-MIMOSA: With a hint of honey, the mimosa flower brings us back to sunny days. Sweet but perfectly balanced, it enlightens the room.

My Review

The wall diffuser is ideal for those who want a simple, no-fuss way of perfuming your interior. Using the same gorgeous scents as in the candles. The diffuser is perfect for those who have younger kids or live a fast life. The fragrance appears quickly and lasts up to 5 hours in a closed space. I love how easy and discreet these are.
