Eve Lom Radiance Transforming Mask

Eve Lom Radiance Transforming Mask is described as an intensive treatment which reawakens and reveals skin that looks renewed, supple, and radiant immediately after use. A natural source of aha extracted from the precious Australian caviar lime, Lime PearlTM, is a gentle yet effective exfoliant that works to remove the buildup of debris and promote natural cell turnover. The result is visibly brighter, smoother skin. A combination of an antioxidant-rich botanical oil and a plant-derived amino acid support suppleness, for skin that looks and feels firmer and plumper. Oxygenation of the skin is improved with nutrient-rich,
regenerative micro-algae extract and a unique mineral complex protect from free radicals and oxidative stressors.

Application – Apply and massage a generous layer to cleansed, dry skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for a minimum of 30 minutes, and remove with warm water. Can also be used as an overnight mask for optimal radiance. To remove, tissue off excess after 30 minutes and leave overnight.

My thoughts – I have been using this mask twice a week in the evenings. The mask has a thick silky texture and glides on smoothly onto the skin, a little pressure is needed that a usual cream mask. When massaged into the skin, the masks texture warms up after application and transforms into a shiny silk-like texture. The texture of the mask stays thick and a little sticky on the face and it does not dry. Upon removal, the mask becomes a soothing milky rinse which easily washes away. The AHA in the Lime Pearl Caviar provides a gentle exfoliation while the hemp seed oil moisturizes and gives an antioxidant boost. Micro-Algae extract provides antioxidant and antimicrobial defense. With some really nice active ingredients, it was a delight to put this on the skin. The first time I used it was for 30-40 minutes but after that, I have been using this as an overnight mask. The tip I can give to use this as an overnight mask is to wipe off the excess with a tissue and leave the rest on the face, this is because it is thick in texture and might feel uncomfortable while sleeping to feel the stickiness. My skin looks supple in the morning, much hydration and radiance. Overall, my skin looks healthier, soothed, soft, and silky. This is the mask I am using in the evenings when I need a brighter, smooth, and supple skin in the morning. It also helps me look less tired when I have not had enough sleep. With gentle exfoliation it does, I see my breakouts and congestion are very much in control when I am sticking to a routine, which I have started putting a reminder for the twice a week mask routine.

Eve Lom Cleanser

Eve Lom Cleanser is a multi-purpose, multi-award winning original balm cleanser which has been a cult favorite of the skincare community. Being a balm and rich, which I have to be careful with my combination skin, it did not break my skin out and does what it is intended to, cleanses, exfoliate, and tone the skin.

It is suitable for all skin types.

For my combination skin prone to congestion, I have to deal with pigmentation and dark spots from my acne most of the times. It is suitable for all skin types but I was more excited to try this cream as it is specifically recommended for those concerned with pigmentation or uneven skin tone and lack of radiance, or to prevent early signs of aging. after using it on and off for the last few weeks, I do notice my skin is brighter.

The cream is light in texture and melts in the skin nicely without any residue. It can be used as a day cream as well as a night cream. It has a beautiful subtle scent to it which fades away quickly. My breakouts and the pigmentation feels calm, clear, and soothed after using this cream. I know it might be too early to notice the difference in my dark spots and pigmentation but I am very positive after seeing the difference in how calm and brighter my skin looks. Eve Lom Gel Balm Cleanser (CAD $78 – 100ml) is claimed to deliver the ultimate cleanse that Eve Lom is famed for in an easy to use gel balm texture. As the Gel Balm Cleanser is massaged into the wet skin, it gently transforms into a milky balm texture that leaves skin soothed and blissfully soft. Unlike traditional gel cleansers that leave skin feeling tight and dry, this cleanser is fortified with moisturizing Shea Butter and nourishing Grapeseed Oil and is clinically proven to moisturize skin for up to 12 hours after use. The hybrid gel-to-balm formula is enriched with our iconic signature blend of Clove, Eucalyptus, Hops and Chamomile Oil which are proven to dissolve impurities and all traces of makeup, including waterproof mascara. When combined with the Shea Butter base, a lightweight botanical aroma is created.

As for the first cleanse, it has worked really well at removing my makeup. My skin was not irritated or had any breakouts when I was using this. It is advised to be used on wet skin but I have liked it both ways, on the wet skin as well as on the dry face followed by a massage and then emulsifying with warm water. My skin felt clean and nice, no dryness residue. Just to be safe, I do follow up with a double cleanse in the evening. But in the morning, I just use this cleanser either on my wet face or directly onto my dry skin, massage it and then emulsify it while massaging.

The aroma of this product is quite noticeable but I do like spices and scent of all things natural, so it was a pleasing and relaxing experience everytime massaging this onto the skin. The Clove in this cleanser is a great ingredient to help with acne, blemishes, and pigmentation. Eucalyptus is both anti=bacterial and anti-inflammatory, Chamomile is a natural soothing agent for skin, and Hops is a nice antioxidant. So, Overall it is a nice cleanser and is going to be the perfect skin partner for cleansing my face, moreover, if you are thinking to start using a gel balm cleanser, it is the perfect weather to get started, that is how my affair with gal balm and balm cleansers started.
