Shiseido is back with a NEW collection of lipsticks, and boy, oh boy, am I happy to try it. Their new range of satin lipsticks is taking on a more comfortable and realistic approach to “all-day wear” cosmetics. Let's have a look.

Shiseido TechnoSatin Gel Lipstick

Are you looking for light lipstick on the lips but big on impact? Then look no further. Shiseido's newest collection is light and has an ultra-comfortable texture. Inside their creamy texture is the exclusive Stretch-Flex technology, which allows the lipstick to move with you. The intense and long-lasting colours are satin finishes that deeply hydrate the skin. The TechnoSatin range is high coverage and long-lasting, without uncomfortable sensations. Forming a second skin on the lip, you can pick from 15 high-intensity shades.

The Shades

The Shiseido Technosatin range is available in multiple shades, from nudes and roses to reds and corals. The shades have unique names inspired by Shiseido's technological era. Here are some of my favourite Shiseido TechnoSatin Gel Lipstick shades:

• 404 Data Stream: The no make-up/make-up look. Subtle yet defining, this powdered pink is ideal for a discreet look.
• 407 Pulsar Pink: Add a little fun to your smile. This baby pink has an uplifting tint to it, perfect for summer.
• 413 Main Frame: Somewhere between a brick orange and red shade. Extremely class! This lipstick is a beautiful way to add character to your make-up.
• 419 Heat Map: A vivid orange shade that is fun and flirty.
• 422 Fuchsia Flux: This fuschia shade is perfectly balanced for a fun yet elegant look. It structures your lips with a vibrant pop of colour.

My Experience

I was excited to try this collection, and Shiseido did not disappoint. Shiseido TechnoSatin Gel Lipstick is easy to use and looks stunning. These beauties are a must-have, from the high-pigmented shades to the creamy, comfortable texture. The design chosen by Shiseido is bold and easy to find in the bag; great choice! It is about time brands started pushing their product's comfort limits. I love that once you apply the lipstick, you almost forget you wear it. Another great addition is the magnetic cap. This is ideal for those who travel or always keep their lipstick close to them. Shiseido has released a wide choice of colours which is always great. Everyone can find the perfect shade for them!

The satin finish allows a shine without it being too much. The lipstick lasts a long time but does transfer when drinking or eating, which I expected anyway. I will for sure be rocking this collection during summer.
