Luminous Silk Foundation

The no-makeup makeup look is a big trend at the moment. I was looking for a fresh, baby skin finish and that is what I got. This product offers medium coverage. Correcting redness, and dark spots smoothes your complexion. As the name says it has a glowy, enlightening finish. With its lightweight texture, the foundation easily glides and blends onto the skin. I appreciated the comfortable feeling it left and almost forgot I was wearing it.

I built up the coverage with this foundation by simply layering and tapping it with my fingertips to blend it out. Not only is it super light, but it also has an oil-free composition. This means that all skin types can enjoy this fluid Foundation. I strongly believe that inclusive brands are the future! There is nothing worse than liking a product to find out they don't have your shade. Existing in 40 glorious shades, Armani leaves nobody on the bench!

How to get the best results?

Prime

Protecting the skin and prolonging the product's longevity. The primer should be applied after your skincare routine. The luminous silk hydrating primer boosts moisture in the skin.

Unify

Use a brush, sponge or your fingers. Apply the luminous silk foundation to your face. Start with a small quantity and gradually build up the coverage.

Correct

If you wish to cover specific zones such as dark circles, skin pigmentations, imperfections, etc. Then prefer the use of a concealer. With a higher coverage, this avoids building up layers.

This foundation and my go-to lip colour are my two staples for an everyday luminous complexion.

Armani Beauty Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer Review

Armani Beauty has launched a new high-shine, high-color lip lacquer, Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer. I have been using the Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer since last week and it is one of the most comfortable lip gloss I have tried. Ecstasy Mirror is supposed to deliver high-shine and intense pigment – when I read the description, I thought it might not be something of my interest. As I prefer a natural look most of the times, high shine and intense pigment might not fit my needs. But I was wrong when I tried this new lip product from Armani Beauty.

Armani Beauty Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer is very comfortable on the lips, the intensity of the shine and pigment is buildable from medium to intense. The shine also depends on how much product you put on. I swipe the applicator once and I am good to go. I love how lightweight it feels and looks on my lips. It is very comfortable and hydrating. It does not even accentuate or sit on my dry lips or between the lines.

Armani Beauty Ecstasy Mirror Lip Lacquer is available in 10 shades, I have swatched 4 in this post:

Beyond 101 – beige

Four Hundred 400 – red

Ecstasy 402 – red

Culmination 502 – pink

The shades are beautiful and so is the pigment. One swipe delivers high pigment and coverage. For an intense shine and intense pigment look, I would say go for more than 1 swipe. Another nice thing is the longevity, even after the formula has worn off, it leaves a stain on the lips which also looks beautiful and stays for a good amount of time. Usually, once a lip color has worn off, it either makes the lips dry or the stain afterward makes the lips look dry – but this does not.

Overall, a really nice launch from Armani Beauty. I have not tried much from Armani but whichever products I have tried, I have liked them all (recent post here).

Armani Beauty Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick, Eyes To Kill Collection Review

With some amazing new launches for the fall and holidays, I am so excited about all the new products with the warmness, the intense shades, comfortable melting textures, and the feel of the bright time. I am sharing the new launches from Giorgio Armani. They are Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick, Eyes to Kill Lacquered Eyeliner, and Eyes to Kill Stellar Mono Eyeshadows. There are gorgeous shades and textures which will suit most of the skin tones.

Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick

Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick is the new matte lip color from the brand. It has good pigment, is long-wear, and comfortable to wear. The pigmentation is amazing, a single application gives really good coverage. It is formulated with a light-diffusing gel. The gel allows for a rich matte finish that looks smooth and supple, rather than dry. The formula also has an emollient paste agent, ester oils and hydrogenated jojoba oil make for a creamy, glide-on application sensation.

The matte packaging is absolutely gorgeous, ultra-matte bullet, sleek matte red and black packaging with iconic Armani magnetic closure. My lips are comfortable without being dry. The intensity from a single swipe from the bullet is amazing, I did blur it out with my finger to make it more diffused.

Overall, Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick is a great formula and vibrant shades to worth checking out. The four shades I have swatched below are:

200 Diva (Mocha)

400 Four Hundred (Red Crimson)

500 Fatale (Blush Pink)

506 Maharajah (Pink).

Eyes to Kill Lacquered Eyeliner

Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill Lacquered Eyeliner is a water-based liquid eyeliner. It reflects the light and illuminates the eyes with a single, graphics and deep black sweep. The iconic packing of Giorgio Armani liner looks stunning. The applicator provides a precise application. The high level of well-dispersed Carbon Black in it helps with intense black and even finish. It has a high level of latex for its long-lasting properties, shiny effect, and comfort.

The water-based formula reflects the light which makes it look freshly applied and intense at the same time. For my eye shape, I do prefer a very thin line rather than a thick eyeliner, this eyeliner is easy to apply and I did have control over how intense I need to apply but I was not able to get that very thin line over my upper lashline. Moreover, it has a nice staying power, did not smudge for over 7-8 hours.

Eyes to Kill Stellar Mono Eyeshadow

Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Stellar Mono Eyeshadow is an ultra-pigmented, long-lasting eyeshadow with a comfortable gel texture and shimmery finish. The shades are bright, apply evenly, with a shimmering finish and the texture is just so soft and bouncy making the application so easy.

Eyes to Kill Stellar 4 Stardust

The gel-like bouncy formula glides on the lids and transforms into light powder when applied with a finger. The formula is easy to blend and comfortable to wear. This eye shadow and Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick are my everyday duo for a natural glam.

Eyes to Kill Stellar 5 Stellar

There are six sparkling shades available in this new mono eyeshadow formula. Above all, they can be applied alone, or with other shades. The formula has a nice pigment that is buildable. It looks beautiful yet subtle at the same time with a single swipe on the lids. I am using the two shades 4 Stardust and 5 Stellar regularly.

I have been wearing the Rouge d’Armani Matte lipstick and the Neo Nude Collection a lot. In conclusion, these new launches are definitely going to be in rotation now. I also love the Armani Ecstacy Mirror Lip Lacquer.

Giorgio Armani Beauty introduced this year – Neo Nude range for skin, cheeks, and lips, with the promise of ‘no-makeup makeup perfection' – ‘INVISIBLE MAKE-UP. VISIBLE PERFECTION'. As is clear from the name, the entire collection is focused on creating that no-makeup makeup look with a luminous sheer glow. If you like natural makeup, like me, this Giorgio Armani Neo Nude collection is going to be right up your alley. I have been playing with two products from the range – Neo Nude A-Blush and Neo Nude Fusion Powder which I think are a must-have if you want to indulge in this collection.

Armani Beauty Neo Nude Fusion Powder

Armani Beauty Neo Nude Fusion Powder contains a high-performance color fusion emulsion with advanced pigments that maintain a skin-matching veil, which stays true no matter how many touch-ups you make throughout the day. It is available in 12 shades. Floating weightlessly onto the skin like a cloud, the secret to its brilliance lies in Giorgio Armani beauty Laboratories’ new patent*: the water memory formulation process. During formulation, water within the powder evaporates, leaving a powder texture behind. Upon contact with the natural moisture found within the skin, the process is reversed: the powder transforms into a veil-like liquid that becomes one with the skin, avoiding harsh lines, smears or caking over time. A second patent* allows a soft weightless powder – so thin it appears invisible.

Neo Nude Fusion Powder has a medium coverage, I use it mainly on the days I need a very natural look, like a simple touch up to brighten my skin and blur the imperfections and I am good to go. Other days, I am using it as a setting powder. I have Shade 5.5 – Beige which is perfect for my skin when I am not tanned.

The finish is very natural and luminous without looking oily. Skin looks radiant and healthy, I do notice it blurs my problem areas and does not emphasize them. The application is easy, the finely milled powder blends in seamlessly into the skin and does not look cakey. My combination skin, with some part being dry and another oily, it does not cling to the dry areas and overall, the skin looks smooth and luminous. The packaging of the powder is so elegant, the touch and feel are so luxurious.

Armani Beauty Neo Nude A-Blush

Armani Beauty Neo Nude A-Blush gives a wash of color gives skin a healthy flush, so natural it looks like you – but better. The water-based product instantly fuses with the skin, comforting and hydrating whilst simultaneously adding radiance. So light, the products promise to blend seamlessly with one another. The new pointed applicator of all three collects precisely the right dose of formula to accentuate your most natural beauty.

It is a beautiful addition to my blushes, very unique yet very natural. I have shade 51 – raspberry which is a natural pink flush on my cheeks.

It is very lightweight and blends in nicely into the skin, giving the most natural dewy flush to the cheeks. The applicator works nicely to apply both on the cheeks and also on the lips. It stays on my cheeks for almost the whole day, around 7 hours.

Giorgio Armani Neo Nude A-Blush and Giorgio Armani Neo Nude Fusion Powder are must-haves for an everyday natural look. It has become a part of my everyday work makeup. They are both very much travel-friendly and are in my bag since I started testing them. I also love the Armani Beauty Rouge d'Armani Matte Lipstick.
