What sets it apart is the Ideal Skin Complex — a botanical blend with cucumber extract, green lentil, buckwheat seed, peach blossom, lady’s mantle, and tiger nut. These work together to blur imperfections, refine texture, and support better skin quality over time. With regular use, skin feels smoother and pores appear less visible.

I like using this in the morning before foundation: a thin layer on my T-zone, maybe a dab on my cheeks, and suddenly my makeup stays put all day. It’s also great for touch-ups — just a little on areas that tend to get shiny.

The Glow version leans into luminosity. It has an iridescent, peach-toned cream texture that melts into skin, instantly scattering light for a radiant, soft-focus finish. Like its matte sibling, Glow uses Sisley’s Ideal Skin Complex — but this version also includes kale extract, which helps boost radiance over time. Use it alone for a sheer, glowing effect, or layer it under foundation to make your base last longer without pilling.

Verdict: Which One Should You Choose?

Honestly? I reach for both — depending on my mood. On days when I want a polished, matte look (especially in warm or humid weather), the Matte primer is my go-to. On days when I want that soft, healthy glow, the Glow primer feels like skin but better.

Sisley nailed this dual-approach: both primers feel like skincare but perform like makeup tools. If you're looking for a pampering base that actually improves skin texture over time, these are winners.

How To Apply It?

The superfluid Revitalessence foundation is easy to use and can be applied with fingers or a brush. I loved applying the foundation with my fingers, giving it a natural finish. But I recommend using a flat foundation brush for those who prefer a higher coverage finish. That way, you can quickly build the foundation up to medium coverage.

My Experience

I purchased the foundation two weeks ago and adore wearing it! The foundation is pleasantly surprising thanks to its super lightweight texture and how natural it looks on the skin, I recommend this foundation for those who want to perfect their complexion without using full coverage. 

I selected the shade 340 Oak, which perfectly matched my skin tone. The shade has a beautiful medium tint that helped camouflage my imperfections and red patches. The foundation's texture is similar to a serum; this said, those with a dehydrated skin type or flaky skin may need a richer texture. In just over a week, I saw a significant improvement in my skin texture and brightness. The foundation is a true hybrid and will help moisturize your skin throughout the day.
