Guerlain L'Or Primer

Guerlain L'Or Primer is one of my favourite primers, I reviewed it in detail in the past here. It is one of those primers which is a hybrid of makeup and skincare, makes my skin soft and supple while keeping it nourished. The gel-like formula blends into the skin seamlessly and the makeup stays on very well after using this primer.

The primer is a 24-karat-gold-infused, cooling gel that sinks into the skin for a long-lasting hydrated, and radiant complexion. ‘L'Or has a distinctive and delicate floral scent. The first peach note blended with an accord of vegetal notes is fresh and sparkling. The rose, raspberry and jasmine heart is enriched with a powdery base of balsamic, benzoin and white musk. ‘

Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation

New Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation is a medium to full coverage foundation which offers hydration, radiant rejuvenating effect while delivering an impressive wear time. The complexion looks flawless, even, and radiant while covering the problem areas. It has dual-faceted golden pigments that contribute to an intensely radiant complexion, a combination of mother-of-pearl and a hint of 24-karat gold. The foundation is available in 12 shades.

I am truly impressed by how creamy and smooth the foundation is. It blends beautifully into the skin. It does not feels heavy or look cakey on my skin. I did not experience any oxidation. In regards to longevity, it stays put for over 9 hours. My skin looks naturally radiant and even all day. I feel the formula is gentle and my skin is comfortable wearing this foundation. I have noticed my skin feels healthier and supple overall since I started using this foundation. The key ingredients are very impressive.

Guerlain KissKiss LipLift

Guerlain KissKiss LipLift is a smoothing base for lips in the form of lipstick. It smoothes and plumps the lips while making a perfect base for the lipstick to last longer. I have reviewed it in the past here. With its creamy, rich and supple texture and neutral translucent shade, it preserves and enhances the colour of your lipstick. Its subtle vanilla-violet fragrance delicately intertwines with the sparkling scent of berries.

Guerlain KissKiss Matte Lipstick Blazing Nude is a beautiful nude shade with a hydrating and plumping formula. The finish of the lipstick is matte and the formula is very pigmented. The formula is comfortable on the lips.

Guerlain Parure Gold Mist

To finish the makeup look, New Guerlain Parure Gold Mist is the perfect way to end the golden ritual. The mist is weightless and hydrating at the same time. It creates a thin barrier to help protect the skin from pollution while also setting makeup in place. It gives a beautiful radiance to the skin while delivering an overall smooth fresh complexion.

‘Parure Gold has a distinctive and delicate floral scent. The first peach note blended with an accord of vegetal notes is fresh and sparkling. The rose, raspberry and jasmine heart is enriched with benzoin and white musks. ‘

To use: Prepare the skin with the L’Or base. Apply to the entire face and neck. Complexion feels refreshed and is ready for foundation application. Apply two to three drops of fluid foundation to the face and neck. Blend in from the center of the face outwards until an even result is achieved. After applying your make-up, close your eyes and spray the mist two or three times while holding the bottle 20 cm from your face. Spray in a “Z” pattern starting at the left side of your forehead and ending at the right side of your jaw.

Overall, I am so impressed with the gold parure range. The foundation is definitely a new favourite – the radiance, how supple and natural my skin looks and feels, the longevity – everything is excellent. I have recommended the L'Or Primer a few times in the past and still is one of my favourite primers. The new Parure Mist is definitely perfect for the radiance, supple, nourished skin. It is a staple for me.
