]]> Guerlain is the leader when it comes to elevating lipstick to the absolute symbol of femininity and seduction – not just in today's world but since the time when lipstick first came into the public limelight – before that, lipstick was considered as an object to be applied in secrecy and was always kept in covers. Fast-forward to January 2021, Guerlain has launched their first makeup product of this year and it is a lipstick. Guerlain KissKiss Tender Matte is the new luminous matte lipstick which is said (by the brand) to be as tender as a kiss.

My Thoughts

Guerlain KissKiss Tender Matte is a very lightweight lipstick but very pigmented. The lipstick has impressive longevity. However, I was curious about what and how is it ‘tender'. The reason is the formula that is tender. It offers a very lightweight, bare-lipped and moisture with comfort sensation without drying the lips. There are three active ingredients in the formula hyaluronic acid, shea butter, and rose petal extract that not only keep the lips comfortable and moisturized but also provides treatment to the lips while imparting a very nice pigment.

“The light, delicate scent of a vanilla “floriental” leaves its incomparable mark on KissKiss. Top notes sparkle with a lemon, orange and bergamot accord. The rose and iris heart exudes sweetness. After that, the vanilla and tonka bean dry-down gives KissKiss all of its intensity.”

Shades

KissKiss Tender Matte is available in 15 tender matte shades that range from nude to rosewood, pink to coral and red. Above all, an interesting thing about the numbering of the Tender Matte lipsticks is that each of the 15 tender shades boasts its own lucky number.

I have to say both the formula and the pigment are stunning. The formula is comfortable to wear and is worth having in your collection if you love good luminous matte lips.
