The first thing that got my attention when I was reading through the details about this new launch was detoxification. I am very much drawn towards the products for my combination skin prone to hormonal congestion. The key points that caught my attention include detoxification, antioxidants, refined texture, brightening, and last but not least hydration. Thus, this essence-lotion aims in providing all my skin needs. But does it works? Well, let me come to my verdict after using La Prairie Platinum Rare Cellular Life-Lotion for almost a month.

The deep amethyst tones of the bottle reflect sophistication and harmony. Every surface and cap catches the light, reflects it in a way that looks like a beautifully cut gem. The lotion has a delicate scent that is very uplifting and relaxing. The iridescent amethyst lotion has a liquid consistency that feels very silky on the skin.

My Thoughts

This glides nicely onto the skin. Then, absorbs giving the skin a beautiful veil of glow as you see after applying. But from within, the lotion helps in the natural detoxification process of the skin. It follows a 3-level approach: Protect, Restore, and Energize.  It protects the skin with the antioxidants in its formulation, the skin texture looks refined, smooth, and comfortable. I am so glad it is working for my combination skin. I have noticed my skin is brighter and the problem areas look blurred, with no breakouts. The skin looks radiant and fresh.

To use, apply AM and PM after cleansing and toning. Dispense a small amount into the palm of the hand. Gently press hands together, diffusing the essence-in-lotion over both palms before gently patting onto the face. Massage into forehead, cheeks, chin and décolleté, allowing it to absorb completely and avoiding eye area. Follow with the serum and moisturizer for day and night.

Platinum Rare Cellular Life-Lotion is an essence-in-lotion. It helps to boost skin renewal from within by supporting three key detoxification processes. First, it enhances the skin’s ability to break down the damaged proteins that impede its function. Second, it improves the skin’s energy production system. Overall, I am in love with this lotion. I can totally see and feel how this single product makes a difference in how my skin looks and feels.
