A brand originating from Switzerland, its science-led technology has made serious breakthroughs in the world of skincare. There are now several different skincare ranges on offer, and the Pure Gold range is one that I’ve had my eye on for a while. I have been testing out the eye cream, serum and moisturizer from the range, and I’m definitely enjoying the results that I’ve seen so far.

This range is allegedly inspired by the infamously beautiful ‘Golden Hour’ in the alps. It harnesses the power of real gold within its formula to recreate that same vibe of radiance for the skin. Named the ‘Pure Gold Diffusion System’, the precious metal works to make skin immediately more luminous and glowing. It felt really special to be using this range. I felt like I was using the epitome of luxury skincare, and I definitely saw instant results from the products.

La Prairie Pure Gold Radiance Concentrate

The La Prairie Gold Radiance Concentrate is so much more than just a face serum. Why? Well, I’ve never seen a serum that produces such an amazing instant glow. And I’ve tried hundreds! It might be because it’s infused with the Pure Gold Diffusion System, or it could be any of the other skin-loving ingredients that all work together to improve skin tone and texture. Regardless, I’m obsessed!

I apply this as part of my morning and evening skincare regime. I’ll use it after cleansing and toning, and I only use a couple of drops at a time. I warm the product between my fingers before massaging it into my skin. I usually find that this is enough product to cover my face, neck and décolletage.

Pure Gold Radiance Eye Cream

It probably won't come as a surprise to learn that I’m just as in love with the eye cream from the range. I genuinely believe that this product is to thank you for the reduction of my dark circles and general eye puffiness recently.

I always use this after I’ve applied the serum. This product comes with a little spoon, which gives a good guide as to how much should be used at a time. Just one swatch of the product is enough for both eyes. As always with eye cream, I use the tips of my ring fingers to delicately massage the product into my eye sockets. I never go too close to my actual eye, as this prevents the risk of irritation.

Pure Gold Radiance Cream

To finish this super-luxe regime, I apply the moisturizer. This cream is so rich and buttery, that it instantly packs hydration into the skin and leaves a glow I’ve never seen before. I would say that this product should only be used at night though, as it is quite heavy to wear underneath makeup in day-to-day life.

Overall, I’m in awe of this collection. It is expensive, but it is effective, and that’s exactly what I want from my skincare!
