The secret to a subtle, glossy smile: The Hermès Rosy lip enhancer

After reviewing the blush from the Hermes Rose collection (review here), I just had to go back and try this lip enhancer. And let me tell you, Hermes didn't disappoint!

The Rosy Lip Enhancer

I have heard wonders about this NEW lip balm/tint from Hermes. The lip enhancer naturally tints your lip, adding a translucent colour and glossy or matte finish. Also extremely comfortable, this lip balm instantly offers a feeling of hydration and softness to the lips. Not only do my lips look great, but the product is refillable.

Available in four lip-enhancing shades, you mix and match depending on the day's mood. My favourite shade in this collection is the “pink confetti.” This playful pink shade is perfect for lifting your makeup without wearing lipstick. The pink shade has a soft blue undertone and looks stunning with or without makeup. I adore wearing these lip balms as they are easy to apply and look natural.

I love a product that smells divine, and Christine Nagel, the brand's perfumer, created a soft, feminine fragrance for the range. The lip enhancer releases gentle notes of arnica, sandalwood, and candied angelica flowers.

What's inside?

The lip enhancer's formula is jam-packed with lip-nourishing actives. The botanical trio of white mulberry extract, sesame seed, and raspberry-seed oils offer endless suppleness and comfort to the lips. Throughout the day, the balm helps to protect and hydrate the top layer of your lips for a show-stopping smile!

The Design

The rose collection was designed by collaborating with Pierre Hardy. Behind the packaging, the Imagineer sculpted the lip enhancers into a minimalistic and modern tube. The tubes are made up of lacquered and brushed metal materials. Also, to protect your tube from wear and tear, Hermes offers a canvas pouch that you can take with you on the go.

My Review

If you are similar to me and don't adore the sticky texture of gloss, then the lip enhancer is the way to go. These lip balm/ tints give the lip a soft shimmer, smoothing out any lines. Ideal for those light makeup looks, the lip enhancer made my lips feel great all day. Lastly, I recommend storing these products in a cool area to avoid them melting.

Victoria Beckham's make-up range grows quickly with amazingly natural, soft look products. The posh gloss collection offers long-wear lip care with a mirror-like finish.

Providing a reflective shine while pumping/ filling lips and smoothing texture and lines.

The lip glosses don't just look amazing. They play a big part in protecting the fine skin on the lips. By repairing the barrier and preventing dehydration, lips look smoother.

These lip glosses promise fuller, healthier-looking lips with a high shine.

Victoria decided to make the formula Vegan, Gluten-free, and Soy-free. Make sure everyone can enjoy her lip-smacking products. The gloss contains 4 ML of product and exists in multiple shades.

Shades

The lip gloss collection contains nine shades in total. From Picante peachy pink, Bungalow neutral petal pink, Fizz cool rose, Aperitivo warm rose, Bikini pinky beige, Tanline honey caramel, Poolside neutral rosy brown, Top-down chocolate berry, to Ice crystal clear.

The lip glosses were divided into three different families. All offering a different finish to the lips.

The Spritz

The sunset pinky shades are a must-have for summer. With their warm tones and lacquered shine, they are perfect to wear with dewy skin.

The Naked

Ultra-modern and sexy. These shades will plump and softly tint your lips. Great if you are wearing a bolder look on the eyes.

The Clear

The transparency offers a mirror-like shine. Plumping your lips there is one unique shade.

The non-sticky texture leaves your lips moisturized.

My Experience

I selected three shades with different finished looks. I am not generally a lip gloss lover, but I have to say these do feel amazing on the lip. With balm-like comfort, they are not at all sticky.

Enriched with Aloe butter, vitamin E, and black currant oil help protect the lip's natural barrier. With these lip glosses, there are endless options. You may choose to wear them alone or over a more pigmented lipstick.

I adored wearing them over my lip liners. Offering a defined, gently tinted glow to your lips. I also love the new Highlighter from the brand. It is so creamy and melts into the skin to give a beautiful glow.

It instantly hydrates the lips and there is a sense of comfort to even the driest lips like mine. The result is smooth and nourished lips that are comfortable. The formula is infused with some nice hydrating and nourishing ingredients. It is lightweight and gentle to support everyday lip care.

The key ingredient in this first balm gloss from the brand is Laura's signature ingredient, French rose extract. It gives a je-ne-sais-quoi to any natural look with a range of universally flattering shades.

• Jojoba Seed Oil – The soft wax helps repair chapped lips with its luxurious balmy texture.
• Grapeseed Oil – This lightweight emollient delivers a radiant shine. It is non-comedogenic.

Laura Mercier Lip Glace is available in 15 shades. Above all, the shades are universally flattering. Below are the shades I have swatched for your reference:

• 15 Vanille – Light pink nude
• 175 Baby Doll – Peach pink with gold pearl
• 210 Berry Bliss – Bright berry

As mentioned, Laura Mercier's Lip Glace is non-sticky and non-tacky. It feels comfortable on the lips. In addition, lips look supple and the shine it delivers looks natural. The packaging of the Lip Glace has a nice weight to it, looks elegant and captivating. Also, the applicator is ultra-soft and envelops the lips nicely to impart a natural hint of colour resulting in a naturally fuller pout. Overall, the formula and the colour payout are nice. Above all, it has helped my dry chapped lips too.
