Naturally bronzed skin

Although the sun may not shine that much during the winter, it is not a reason to lose your summer glow. Today I am reviewing the bronze powder from Chantecaille and revealing the secret to sun-kissed skin year round.

The Real Bronze

Chantecaille is bringing a touch of Italian know-how to its makeup range. The bronzing powder is a gel-powder texture that slides onto the skin perfectly. Using extremely fine-milled pigments, your skin gains a glowing touch with each use. The powder delivers a natural finish and is easily buildable for a more intense look. The formula is enriched with pearl pigment technology that leaves a soft glow on your face. What do we love about this powder? It's a super light feeling, and the powder is the perfect addition to your look for a no makeup/ makeup look and feel.

You can purchase the real bronze in two different shades:

• Sirena: This is a golden bronze shade, ideal for light/ medium skin carnations.
• Goa is a cocoa brown shade, ideal for medium/ dark skin carnations.

The packaging takes on the typical red coat of Chantecaille's products. Once you open your powder, the sunburst mandala reflects all the light at you. You can apply it using a slanted or puffy makeup brush. The case has a mirror, making it the perfect on-the-go bronzer.

My Review

I have struggled with bronzers all of my life. Why? Finding the right pigment intensity. Suppose you are like me and prefer natural, unseen makeup, then you won't be disappointed by this bronzer. Easy to apply with not too much “dust”, the powder leaves a smooth and natural shimmer on the skin. Far from the glitter, this bronzer is the best I have used in a while. I wish the brand would have been more inclusive when releasing the powder, as it could do with a few more shades. A very fair skin type may find it too orange. You could also use the bronzer for contouring if needed. The powder is long-lasting and worth the try!
