MoroccanOil All In One Leave-In Conditioner is a multitasking spray that detangles, hydrates, and protects hair against breakage and thermal damage. It is a very lightweight milky formula and does not makes hair oily or greasy. The hair feels soft and nourished. A very fine spray comes out of the bottle's pump, and I spray 3-4 spritz on my towel-dried hair. I have even used it on my second-day hair to refresh them. After spraying this leave-in conditioner, my hair is more manageable and looks and feels soft and nourished when I leave my hair for air drying.

When I heat style my hair, the result is the same nourished and soft hair, but there is an extra layer of protection from the heat. My hair is silky and shiny without any residue. This is a new staple I have been enjoying very much for my hair; a keeper. Even when staying at home, it keeps my hair healthy and bouncy without weighing them down.

MoroccanOil Volumizing Mist

MoroccanOil Volumizing Mist is a weightless mist that builds hair volume and lifts hair for a look for fuller hair. Contrary to the typical hair volumizing products, this new MoroccanOil Volumizing Mist keeps the hair soft and maintains the movement and hold from root to tip without making the hair stiff and crisp.

After getting out of bed, the hair looks full for over 2-3 days, with a light touch-up in the mornings. This volumizing spray should be used from root to end and heat-styled. Overall, I love the results, there is no residue, and it does not weigh down the hair.

Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment

Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment is a pre-shampoo treatment, Weightless Hydrating Mask is after shampooing the hair while still in the shower, and Curl Defining Cream is after hair wash. I am happy to report that these three products have made a noticeable difference in my scalp and hair overall. Just to let you know that I have a sensitive and problem scalp that gets buildup and dandruff easily while the lengths are dry and rough. My hair is medium wavy, and I use heat most of the time, but I have not used heat since I started working from home. I feel that is also one of the reasons my hair looks and feels healthy to me. I think the products I am using work better and show results better this way.

Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment addresses the needs of a dry and flaky scalp. It revives the scalp and relieves it from itchiness, dryness, and irritation. The formula is very concentrated yet lightweight and spreads easily when applied and massaged. It is infused with antioxidant-rich argan oil, lavender, and geranium essential oil nourishes and soothes the skin. The salicylic acid in the treatment gently exfoliates to reduce flakiness while improving circulation.

I use it as a pre-shampoo treatment, massage gently while applying it, then keep it for 15-20 minutes, and then follow with shampoo and conditioner. since I started using it, I am really not sure why I have not tried this treatment before, despite being a long-time fan of Moroccanoil products, especially their Moroccanoil Treatment Original, Perfect Defense, and the body care products (reviewed here). For my soothed and comfortable scalp, this Dry Treatment Scalp is definitely going to be a staple from now on.

Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask

Moroccanoil Weightless Hydrating Mask is a moisturizing mask for dry and lifeless hair. The mask is creamy and rich yet lightweight and deep-conditioning for hair. It conditions and hydrates fine hair while weighing them down or making them greasy or oily. I feel my hair is alive, they are smooth and shiny, looks and feels healthy, are more manageable. I apply it after shampooing and on towel-dried hair, keep it on for 5-7 minutes and then rinse thoroughly.

Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream

Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream is an argan-oil-infused cream which is one of the best sellers of the brand. This is another product which I am feeling like why I have not tried before. With this curl-defining cream, my hair is hydrated without being oily or greasy or frizzy; it does not weigh down my hair, it provides texture to hair, and last but not least, my waves/curls look natural yet defined and healthy. I apply 1-2 pumps of this cream on towel-dried hair, distribute it throughout it, and then let the hair dry naturally since I am not going out a lot these days except for groceries.

My hair looks and feels the healthiest if I compare them to how they were in the last few years. I am enjoying Moroccanoil Dry Scalp Treatment, Weightless Hydrating Mask, and Curl Defining Cream for my hair and recommend you to check them out.

It has been doing a wonderful job straightening my hair – I have to pass it once or twice depending on the temperature I have set the iron on or the results I am looking for – pin-straight or natural straight. I am so glad this newly launched product not only had me thinking about how much I care for my body, especially when you are so busy in my everyday routine, work, kids, and home, it might be the least priority. But with time and experience, I have become more diligent in giving myself the ‘me' time I deserve at the end of the day. This serum has become a part of that ritual of ‘me' time, and I am so glad to have it in my routine. Not just this night body serum, I have a few discoveries from the brand – for hair and body, which I have not tried before.

Moroccanoil Night Body Serum

Moroccanoil Night Body Serum is a highly concentrated serum is packed with high-performing ingredients that work together to firm and smooth the skin with every application. The formula includes an antioxidant-rich blend of argan and tsubaki oils to address the loss of firmness and moisture, Holy Basil extracts to help protect skin from environmental stressors and smoothing Vitamin C ester to smooth and strengthen the skin for a more youthful, radiant appearance. For your reference, I have dry skin, which becomes itchy if I do not keep it moisturized. Also, this is the first serum I am using for my body.

The serum's texture is smooth and silky, while the consistency is a little thick. I have been using it after a shower and sometimes when I have exfoliated in the shower. The night body serum glides nicely on the skin, takes a little rub to sink, and absorbs nicely into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. The result is nourished, supple skin in the morning.

Moroccanoil Pure Argan Oil

Moroccanoil Pure Argan Oil is 100% pure argan oil which is extremely rich in Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. This luxurious, non-greasy oil provides multiple conditioning and moisturizing benefits for the face, body and hair, leaving all three with beauty and shine. It glides on like silk and absorbs quickly for a head-to-toe moisturizing and pampering experience. I do not use this on my face as I have combination skin prone to congestion, and this might be too nourishing for me, but definitely, this would be treated for folks with dry skin. I use it on my body and hair for my weekly nourishing and massage ritual for hair and body. A great tip is to mix 2-3 drops of this oil with my hand cream, and it keeps my hands hydrated all day long. For hair, it soothes, nourishes, and calms the scalp as well as hair.

Moroccanoil Body Butter

This is one of my favourite body butter for its scent, long-lasting hydration, and the way it makes the skin look supple and fresh.

Moroccanoil Perfect Defense

Apart from the above body care products, I have two hair products from the brand, which I have enjoyed; both have won many Beauty awards for their performance and feel. Moroccanoil Perfect Defense is a weightless, dry aerosol, heat-protective spray. This nourishing, argan oil and vitamin-fueled formula rehydrate the hair while protecting against the damaging effects of heat styling up to 450⁰F/230⁰C.The spray works nicely on my hair, is lightweight, and does not leave any residue or stickiness. It did not dry my hair out but has been an excellent addition to my hair styling routine before my heating tools.

Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones

Okay, for the last product, to tell you the truth, I had no idea there is a shampoo targeting dark hair tones, I had the impression that there is only one kind of shampoo that works for all hair tones. Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo for dark tones came as a surprise for me, of course, a pleasant one. And not to forget, it has already won many Beauty awards for one of its kind. Moroccanoil Dry Shampoo Dark Tones contains ultra-fine, oil-absorbing rice starch that removes buildup and odour, leaving hair instantly clean and refreshed.

Its UV-protecting, argan oil-infused formula breaks down instantly, leaving no dull residue and maintaining the natural richness of dark, brunette tones. This dry shampoo does not leave any white streaks or white residue on my scalp or hair and does not irritate my scalp. With a very hectic schedule at work and home, I have to admit that I can not be my best every day, and there goes my very beautiful just-washed hair after a day – that is when this Dry shampoo has come to my aid, especially for its dark tone.

Morocconoil Mending Infusion (CAD $37) is described as an advanced argan-oil infused lotion-serum that not only mends hair to provide a frictionless finish but also nourishes, conditions and helps to strengthen hair. Additionally, the ultra-lightweight formula provides long-lasting benefits that help prevent future damage over time, resulting in healthier-looking, touchably-soft and silky hair with each use.

The key ingredients include Argan Oil(help restore elasticity, smoothness, and manageability to hair while imparting brilliant shine), Galactoarabinan(it provides vital moisture and helps restore a healthy look to the hair), Baobab Extract(to improve elasticity and increase hair strength), Panthenol/Provitamin B5 (hair conditioning agent and moisturizer to enhance hair shine), Coconut Alkanes(provides a smooth feel and shine, while aiding in spreadability of the hair), and Hydrolyzed Quinoa(help restore hair’s strength).

I use it at the ends of my dry hair after washing or during the week. After using this, the hair feels moisturized and the split and brittle ends do not appear to be much noticeable. The consistency of the product is light cream like and it smells almost same like the Morrocconoil treatment which I reviewed here. It is not oily or does not makes the ends oily, just smooth and better version of the hair ends. Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo

Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo(CAD $39) is described to revives hair with naturally derived powders that absorb excess oil and impurities. It is suitable for all hair types. It calms the senses with an aroma with 25 pure flower and plant essences including certified organic lavender, petitgrain and ylang-ylang.

My scalp gets oily after a day or two after washing and I tend to use a dry shampoo to extend my hairstyle and delay the hair wash. I like the smell of this dry shampoo and it does what it is supposed to do, soaks up oil from scalp. It makes the hair silky and fresh. The only issue I have with this is the packaging of the product, there is no control over how much product you want out, and for me, it is always too much, so either I try to shake a bit over the scalp or just have it on the palm of my hand and then apply to the scalp. It is very fine powder and dissipates quickly without leaving the white cast. Other than that, the formula is good, smells really good and does not leave the white powder or white stuff in the hair. Aveda Shampure Dry Shampoo is available at Aveda official website.

Overall, both these products have been a nice addition to my hair care routine. I would recommend both of these if you are looking to mend and extend your hair and hairstyle.
