Nars has launched ‘The Claudette Collection' that is inspired by Claudette, mother and muse to Francois Nars. The collection portrays her elegant and authentic style combined with a touch of her personality. The collection draws its inspiration from the spirit of the 1970s Paris Rive Gauche, which is all about boldness, love, and beauty. The limited-edition Claudette Collection is comprised of: Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick, Audacious Lipstick, Claudette Cheek Duo, and St Germain Des Pres Eyeshadow Palette. I have shared more details on the first three as below.

Audacious Sheer Matte Lipstick

This is the cult-favorite formula from the brand. The sensorial texture and look along with the soft-focus powder finish. Above all, it feels very lightweight on the lips and longevity is pretty good. The formula delivers a medium-sheer coverage. In addition, the formula feels very comfortable on the lips, even on my dry lips. There are 6 shades launched and below is the shade description of the 4 that I have swatched:

Anais – pink nude
Mathilde – rose beige
Sylvie – berry red
Sandrine – scarlet red

You can wear this matte formula alone or can layer with the Nars Lip Balms.

Audacious Lipstick

Again, a cult-favorite formula with a satin finish. It glides on like satin across the lips. The formula is very pigmented as well as is hydrating on the lips. Also, the longevity is very impressive, it stays put without bleeding. Moreover, I have used this formula for years. And it is always great to have new shades or limited-edition packaging in the formulas you love, don't you think the same?

Four new shades of this Audacious Formula are names of the most inspiring women in Francois Nars' life: his mother, Claudette Augustine, and grandmothers, Lea and Ginette. Below are the shade descriptions per the swatches:

Lea – neutral spiced rose
Augustine – taupe nude
Claudette – rust red
Ginette – deep brown red

Claudette Cheek Duo

The duo has two sophisticated shades of blush that are perfect to wear every day. The formula of powders is weightless, soft, and also it builds easily. It delivers a very natural hint of color with a single swipe. Also, it is easily buildable to high intensity per the need. The shade on the left is Croisette (matte bright peach) and on the right is Ninotchka (matte toasted amber). It stays on well under Nars Foundation and Radiant Creamy Concealer.

Overall, Nars Claudette Collection is a really nice collection of sophisticated and wearable products. I will definitely keep the Cheek duo and nude shades in my everyday routine while the bold shades for feel-good days.
