Nars Soft Matte Primer is the newest primer launched by the brand. It is a very lightweight primer that mattifies the skin. I love Nars bases including their foundations and tinted moisturizer. The performance and how natural they look on the skin while staying comfortable are really good. This newest launch is a nice addition to my makeup routine. The formula features NARS’ Climate Balancing Technology. With it, a dual-action system adjusts to the environment to help retain hydration in dry climates and absorb excess moisture in humid ones. Thus, preventing excess sweat and sebum from breaking down makeup.

Nars Soft Matte Primer glides smoothly on the skin. The water-gel texture transforms into a nice velvety, soft matte finish. It is not overly matte but a soft natural matte. I like how lightweight it feels on the skin. Once applied, I do not feel it to be heavy or greasy at all. The primer is not drying at all but I feel it is hydrating. It smoothens the skin while blurring the problems areas and filling the uneven texture.

Overall, the result is a smooth base for makeup application. Nars Soft Matte Primer keeps the makeup put together for over 10 hours for me while controlling any shine coming through. As the day passes, I feel my skin looks radiant and not oily or shiny at all. I have not experienced any breakouts or congestion while using this primer. Also, the formula has an Anti-Oxidation Complex that helps control the appearance of excess sebum to prevent shades from shifting due to oxidation.

Apart from this new primer, Nars Climax Collection is the newest launch. I am enjoying the Nars Climax Eyeshadow Palette and Nars Climax Eyeliner. The shades in the palette are perfect for fall as well as winter. The Eyeliner is really amazing, love how easy it is to use.

Other new products I am enjoying from the brand are Nars Radiant Creamy Color Corrector, Nars Soft Matte Complete Foundation, and Concealer. The new Nars Soft Matte Tinted Lip Balm is another favorite. It has a beautiful soft matte finish that is very comfortable. The shade range is really nice. My favorite Nars High Pigment Longwear Eyeliner is my all-time favorite. It is so gentle and the shade range is amazing.
