Nars most natural blush yet!

I have found the most stunning blush to exist yet. Nars has released its NEW range of Afterglow blushers, giving off the perfect, natural rosy tint.

The Afterglow Liquid Blush

Are you looking for a high-pigment without the heavy powdered sensation? Then look no further. The afterglow blush has a light texture that delivers up to 8 hours of hydration. With a wide choice of luminous colours, The NEW Nars blush is enriched with skincare ingredients. I have long dreamed about finding a no budge blusher that will last me throughout my day, so when I discovered the liquid blusher is a no-transfer, I was delighted. The creamy formula is long-lasting and contains a trio of sodium hyaluronate, vitamin E, and vegan collagen to perfect the appearance of the skin.

The Applicator

If you have used liquid blush before, you know how vital a good applicator is. The Nars Afterglow has a cushioned tip applicator, allowing you to pick up a good quantity of product in just one dip. Easy to use, the applicator is essential to keeping a clean and hygienic product. This applicator gives you an accurate application each time.

The Shades

The afterglow blush comes in six shades ranging from peachy pink to deep plum. Ideal for all carnations, the shades are highly pigmented and blend out effortlessly. You can build the layers up for high coverage, and why not try them on the eyelids?

All-Day Hydration

As mentioned, Nars enriched their blush with profoundly hydrating skincare ingredients. This is an excellent addition as it prevents your skin from absorbing the product throughout the day.

Shades

My favourite shades are:

• The coral pink: Brazen

This is my summer shade. The coral colour is vibrant without being too much. The orange undertones look great with blue eyes or a blue liner on the eyes.

• The dusty pink: Dolce Vita

A softer pink shade that is perfect for all styles of makeup. The powdered pink colour melts onto the cheeks for a natural pink tone.

• The deep plum: Insatiable

I love to use this deeper shade of an evening for a rich and structured look. The plum shade is highly-pigmented, and a small amount goes a long way.

My Review

As a big fan of liquid blush, I had high expectations for the NEW afterglow range from Nars. The liquid blusher looks beautiful on the skin alone or over makeup. The creamy texture is easy to work with and doesn't dry out quickly. The Afterglow liquid blush is Nar's most natural finish yet. Its light finish offers a luminous glow to the cheeks without it being shimmering. I previously used the Orgasm Four Play Blush Quad (review here), which is also great but offers a more pushed, shimmer finish. Another go-to is the new Laguna Bronzer. (review here)
