My Review

I have a normal skin type and was looking for a deeply hydrating cream to make my skin feel comfortable and supple. Kiehl's has always been at the top of my skincare products to try. So today, I decided to make that dream a reality. The ultra-facial cream is magical, from the quickly absorbing texture to its gentle, fragrance-free scent. Also, everything about it invites you back to use it time and time again.

I recommend this to all skin types wanting a simple yet highly effective moisturizing cream. It also works great on dry skin patches; you can apply it to arid zones on the body and share it with your male friends.

Key Ingredients

Brazilian Bum Bum Cream contains caffeine-rich Guarana extract that helps tighten the appearance of skin. Guarana has five times the caffeine of coffee and thus, very potent. My Thoughts

My first thought after opening the jar of Brazilian Bum Bum Cream was is this for real. It instantly uplifts the mood like I am at my favorite beach or island and enjoying each bit of my life. I know ‘happy‘ is a state of mind or mood but I can totally relate the first impression and scent of this cream to a version of happiness and joy. It is a very rich, smooth, silky soft cream. It applies very well and massages beautifully on the skin. Then, it absorbs with a little circular massage without leaving any residue. Despite being very nourishing, there is no greasiness. The only thing it leaves is beautiful skin and a scent that stays forever.

Brazilian Bum Bum Cream is one of those products that are long-lasting both in terms of performance, nourishment, as well as scent. Definitely, in my top favorites. I can smell it on my skin even at the end of the day. The scent is not overpowering at all but it reminds me of being there while I turn my face or move my arms around. I use it on my whole body and have noticed my skin is very happy. It is hydrating and nourishing. My skin feels comfortable and radiant. Also, it is soothing after a day out. The best thing is I have used Brazilian Bum Bum Cream in winter, spring, and now summer. It is a cream I can use all year round.

Another great thing is that this cream is suitable for expecting mothers and lactating mothers. My friend is loving it right now, she used it during the whole of her pregnancy and breastfeeding. But again, it is always safe to patch test before using it.

My skin is silky soft, smooth, and glowing. I have noticed the texture of my skin has improved, it is more even and I see some tightening happening. I am not sure it is due to this cream alone or just the amazing ingredients and nourishment that are doing this. But I would like to believe it due to the combined effort of this cream and my regular walking regime. I was using the Clarins Tonic Body Treatment Oil since last 3 months and it has proved to be really nice on my skin, my skin feels soft and hydrated but the only con is that it is really expensive. I was looking for an alternative from drug store that i can replace with my Clarins Oil when it gets over. I got the Cetaphil Moisturizing lotion after carefully going through all the aisles in the drug store and then finally i put few ingredients on internet search and got them to be safe. It says over the cover that it is non-comedogenic means that it does not clog pores.

On the Cetaphil website, they clearly mentioned that it does not contain the harmful ingredients unsafe during pregnancy, so it is safe to use during pregnancy. Although i did my part of research and finally bought it in 500ML packing, my first product from this brand. The moisturizer is of good consistency, neither very oily nor very watery, just perfect to blend into the skin without feeling greasy. I have noticed that my skin feels really smooth and hydrated since last few days. I have never had the need to reapply it during the day or night, just once in the morning after bath. Also, i have noticed that it has maintained few things from my previous clarins oil effects, like no itching, so i am not scratching since few months and that's a good sign that my skin is hydrated. Also, it is fragrance free. I am going to look for a 1L economic pack once this bottle gets over, probably Cotsco will have it as Cetaphil says that on their Canadian website.

I stopped using all the products when I came to know of my pregnancy, but after doing a lot of research on my own, then emailed the clinique people, and then finally asked my family physician. She said it's fine to use them as they have controlled quantities of chemicals that are far from harming the baby.

After a break of around a month, I finally started using the products again. The products are gentle enough and have not caused any dryness or irritation to my skin. I have noticed my dark spot has faded while using the products together. I make sure to use sun protection during the day in case I am just using the serum. For my evening skincare routine, I make sure to use the dark spot corrector and then follow with my night moisturizer.

Overall, I am happy to keep these two in my routine. I feel my eye area is a little drier than before since I got pregnant. So I am looking for an eye cream that is not too heavy and is gentle for my sensitive eye area.
