My Review

After purchasing the Skin Glow foundation and being blown away by its stunning results, I decided to try the Skin Glow primer.

I can't believe how much difference using this makeup base has made. I love how silky smooth the primer leaves my skin, and I often wear it alone over my skin care products. The primer is lightweight and didn't cause me any skin problems. After using the Skin Glow primer and foundation every two weeks, I can also see an improvement in my natural skin. My skin looks brighter and more even! I recommend this to those with dryer or dehydrated skin, which generally absorbs all their foundation.

Shiseido's serum-like foundation is a best-seller for many reasons. Starting with its skincare-infused formula. The Revitalessence foundation improves the skin texture and appearance in just one week. The buildable, medium-coverage foundation has a luminous finish and instantly corrects uneven skin tones, dilated pores, and dull skin. Available in an astonishing 30 shades, this range of foundations is highly inclusive. The skincare-infused foundation will smooth and brighten your skin on a daily basis while visibly reducing fine lines.

The two main skincare actives in the foundation's formula help keep the skin looking healthy whether you wear foundation or not.

• Fermented Kefir+: This active helps strengthen the skin barrier, improving skin texture and health.

How To Apply It?

The superfluid Revitalessence foundation is easy to use and can be applied with fingers or a brush. I loved applying the foundation with my fingers, giving it a natural finish. But I recommend using a flat foundation brush for those who prefer a higher coverage finish. That way, you can quickly build the foundation up to medium coverage.

My Experience

I purchased the foundation two weeks ago and adore wearing it! The foundation is pleasantly surprising thanks to its super lightweight texture and how natural it looks on the skin, I recommend this foundation for those who want to perfect their complexion without using full coverage. 

I selected the shade 340 Oak, which perfectly matched my skin tone. The shade has a beautiful medium tint that helped camouflage my imperfections and red patches. The foundation's texture is similar to a serum; this said, those with a dehydrated skin type or flaky skin may need a richer texture. In just over a week, I saw a significant improvement in my skin texture and brightness. The foundation is a true hybrid and will help moisturize your skin throughout the day.
