My Review

I always wanted an easy way to clean my skin easily after a long day of work or in the middle of a day. I have oily skin and if I don't do cleansing regularly, I get severe acne breakouts. It is difficult to carry a cleanser because of spillage issues and the need for water. I have naturally big pores on my face and it is worse for me to deal with pollutants because the dirt ends up being deep into my skin. The constant exposure to dirt made my skin dull.

I always carry Rodial Vit C Brightening Cleansing Pads with me in my bag as it's so convenient to clean with them. After using the cleansing pads, I could feel the skin getting properly cleansed. With the constant use, I could see a decrease in the size of the pores as well. I even use it during the day sometimes if I feel like I have had too much exposure to pollution. It improved the texture of my skin greatly as it felt smooth. It even helped me with the breakouts and I stopped getting them altogether. I have gotten a lot of compliments regarding the glow on my skin.

My Review

I developed dark circles around my eyes due to my late working hours at night since I could not get enough sleep. Although I was not concerned at the start when it started to turn darker, I knew I had to do something about it. I tried a number of under-eye treatments but none of them worked for me, the dark circles were too stubborn. Also, the creams were too thick which made it difficult for me to use them since I already have oily skin. Even the under-eye serums seemed to have zero effect though the massage helped me with the puffiness but not effectively.

Rodial Banana Lowlighter has been the most effective product I have used till now. The texture of the product is amazing and being lightweight, it does not cause any stickiness. I use it every day and it works effectively to cover up my dark circles and brighten the area. The coverage of the product is great as well and it is long-lasting. Throughout the day, it does not crease. It provides a subtle glow and does not give a chimney glow. I apply it with my fingers and it blends perfectly.

Tip: I always make sure to exfoliate my skin regularly. That keeps the skin clear, radiant, and a perfect base for makeup.

Rodial Diamond Foundation is a lightweight perfecting foundation that delivers medium to high coverage and boosts skin’s luminosity for a radiant complexion. This satin formula has a feather-light skin feel that blends effortlessly for comfortable wear without drying or flaking. The packaging of this foundation is in a pump bottle and one pump is enough for my face.

I have been using this to work every day and looks natural, radiant, and stays on all day. It did not emphasize my dry areas neither it made the oily areas oilier. I did not experience any irritation and breakouts with this foundation. It works nicely with or without powder over it. I have swatched two shades 04 and 05 in this new foundation below. 04 suits my medium skin tone with golden undertones. I am hoping that 05 will suit my skin tone during the summers.

I am using the shade Dark Ash Brown for my dark hair.

Overall, I am really loving these three new launches. Rodial Diamond foundation, Microblade Eyebrow Effect Pencil, and Bronze-Tour Powder from Rodial are definitely worth checking out. The packaging and performance of the products are both great.

Also, it does not crease or sticks to the problem areas.

For best results, use Rodial Baking Powder to set for a long-wear finish. The buildable texture can also be layered during the day for quick touch-ups.

Dragon's Blood is sourced from the red sap of the ‘sangre de drago' tree. And it works to form a second-skin-like protective film on the skin. It helps protect against environmental damage and contains anti-inflammatory properties.

Rodial Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water

Rodial Dragon's Blood Cleansing Water is the new addition to Rodial's dragon's blood range. It is a gentle, hydrating, and soothing cleanser. It removes makeup and impurities with refreshing rosewater while dragon's blood soothes stressed skin. In addition, it is a non-sting, no-rinse formula. The triple-action cleanser illuminates and evens skin tone for an instantly brighter complexion.  Along with the dragon's blood, the rose water in this cleansing water soothes and refreshes the skin. Also, it helps decongest the skin while reducing swelling and deep cleansing. Vit B3 in it brightens and illuminates the skin tone, reducing melanin accumulation in the epidermis.

I use it with a cotton pad on my face and even the eyes. It does not sting my eye area and removes makeup nicely. Then, I follow with a second cleanse to make sure no traces are left on my skin. I feel my skin is not dry and tight after cleansing with this. My skin is clean, purified, soothed, and soft. Skin appears bright and does not cause any redness or irritation in my problem areas. The packaging of this cleansing water is another plus. As you see in the picture, it is a nice clear bottle with a press pump. That means you put the cotton pad over the top and press it. This is really nice cleansing water for the first cleanse when I am wearing makeup. And even when I am just wearing sunscreen over my skincare, I use it as the first cleanse.

Rodial Dragon's Blood Essence Mist

Rodial Dragon's Blood Essence Mist is a lightweight mist. It is to be applied after cleansing to deliver active ingredients deep into the skin. Or it can be applied during the day to re-energize. The intelligent blend of ingredients protect against aging environmental factors and also nourish and hydrate the skin.

I use this mist after cleansing my face and before using my serum or to set makeup. I close my eyes and spray directly onto the face after cleansing. This helps my skin to be ready for the next step which is usually a serum. It works nicely to set my makeup and also to refresh during the day. It feels very soothing on the skin and makes the skin feeling energized. The mist is very fine and light does not feel heavy or makes the skin look oily. It just makes it bright and beautiful.
