The perfect blend of sandalwood, bergamot and peach, this perfume smells extremely exotic on first impressions. It has a lingering musky undertone, which sticks to the skin (and clothes – I can still smell it on my sweater even after I’ve washed it!), with a hint of rose to add some extra sophistication. There really is no need to go overboard when spraying it, either. Just a couple of spritzes on my wrists and neck is enough to last the day. This is how I can tell that the quality of this perfume is second-to-none. There is never a need for a midday top-up!

It might be expensive – but it’s worth it. It’s the type of fragrance I would choose to wear on my wedding day. I feel like ‘that girl that always smells nice’ when I'm wearing it. I get asked countless times about what fragrance I am wearing, which, as a perfume enthusiast, is always a good conversation starter for me!

As strange as it sounds – I also love the way this fragrance looks on my dresser. The bottle just screams luxury. Although, this isn’t just limited to this perfume – every product in the Roja Parfums range is packaged beautifully. Even when I’ve finished with the scent, I’ll definitely be keeping the bottle for display purposes!

For men that are picky with their aftershaves, this masculine version of the scent is perfect. It still smells similar but has top notes of smoky tobacco, cognac and vanilla – a great combination for a man that means business. There is still a fruity zest present, thanks to the heliotrope ingredient that smells like cherries, but there is also an added element of spice. Ginger, pepper and cardamom add the zest the fragrance needs to be a bit more manly.

I gifted this to my partner as he can sometimes be impossible to buy for. Generally, he will stick to his old-time favourite, Chanel Bleu. It was a risk, as it’s an expensive fragrance. Needless to say, he loved it. It’s a little too intense to wear every day, but that makes it the perfect ‘special occasion scent.
