La Prairie Skin Caviar Luxe Sleep Mask

This creamy rich texture is a lifting and firming night treatment. It does all the hard work for you whilst you get some well-deserved rest.

By restoring moisture lost during the day the skin is deeply replenished. This brings a sense of comfort and elasticity to the skin. This mask focuses on targeting any loss of elasticity or tonicity. Doing so prevents and corrects fine lines and wrinkles.

With such a high price, I was expecting something very special and I was not let down.

La Prairie is known for their highly concentrated formulas and innovative ingredients. Inside the sleep mask is many rich, rare actives that push this product to the top of scientific progress. The star of the product is Caviar. Rich in marine nutrients that help nourish skin it has three main actions.

-Uncrease. Renewing the skin during sleep reduces fine lines. The skin is smoother.

-Firm. By boosting the creation of collagen our skin becomes firmer.

-Seal. Locking in moisture reduces water loss and dehydration. Skin is plumped and protected.

Fact: Did you know that Caviar only exists in dark places. It thrives in the deep night of the ocean. Existing in 5 different forms, the sleep mask contains caviar extract.

Blue cobalt.

The whole range is packaged in a luxurious deep blue colour. Caviar was first spotted in the La Prairie studio in 1987. Enshrined in a vibrant, potent colour – that richest of blues, cobalt. Not only looking good this protects the cream from light and contamination.

How to use it?

After cleansing and toning your face, follow with an oil/serum of your choice.

Using the spatula take a pea-sized amount of the Sleep mask and place it on the cheeks, forehead and chin. Use a brush to apply the product for an even layer. Then, I allow it to dry completely. After each application, I make sure to rinse the brush with soap and water and allow it to air-dry. The morning after, proceed with your usual face wash and skincare routine.

My Experience

It was my first time discovering a caviar-based product and I must say, it is amazing. The texture of Skin Caviar Luxe Sleep Mask is a silky cream that instantly melts into the skin. I woke up with baby soft skin and it made me feel great about myself.

My skin was bright, plumped and looked very healthy from the first application. This product is an investment, but a well worth one. You only need a tiny amount of product to cover the whole face. This is a product for people who are serious about their skincare routine and general skin health.
