The Exterior

The note bag is a small format measuring 25 x 8.5 x 18cm or 9.8 x 3.3 x 7.1in. The structured rectangular bag is highly resistant to everyday wear thanks to the thick and supported leather outing. The note bag is tinted in a deep black shade with hand-painted trims and has a minimalistic yet classy look. The rectangular shape makes it perfect for storing everyday items such as your purse, phone, checkbook, etc.

The Note bag design uses a timeless foldover top with a magnetic closure, which is easy to flip open and close and is perfect for regular access! This large opening also gives you more space to expand the storage because we can only have a little.

The Note bag's exterior also holds an unnoticeable flat slip pocket under the foldover opening. The slip pocket is great for storing finer objects like notes, cards, papers, etc.

Burberry decided to add a touch of light to this model by using polished metal hardware to contrast the darker and minimalistic color of the bag.

The gold details are the perfect way to accord your jewelry or accessories with this bag.

The Interior

Although the bag is slim, it can hold a lot for its size. I love how Burberry pays attention to detail and uses the Burberry check to lift the interior, making it easier to find your items. The lining comprises a resistant 55% cotton and 45% polyester. The bag's interior has one main spacious compartment and a slip pocket on the backside.

The Strap

The compact luxury handbag comes with two choices of wear:

-Over the shoulder

-Cross-body.

This is thanks to the detachable and adjustable strap included (Min. strap drop: 38cm/15in. Max. strap drop: 59cm/23.2in). The black strap shows the Burberry name while giving your note bag a more relaxed and casual feel. The Burberry Note is a multi-functional bag that adapts itself to every occasion. Lengthen the black material strap to fit your needs. 

Shades

 One of the things I adore about this particular note bag model is that there are so many options when selecting the shade of your Burberry check pattern. 

-Full Burberry check: This option is a must for those who want their bag to be a statement piece! The note bag is available in a variety of checked leathers. There is something for everyone, ranging from light beige to a deeper Brown shade and even a subtle Khaki green.

-The minimalistic black and Burberry check: My absolute favorite is this intense black leather with the Burberry checked panel on the front face.

More discreet than the previous option, I find it much easier to pair with various outfits.

My Review

The Burberry Note bag quickly became my go-to for everyday and city travel. The small-sized bag is the perfect way to store all your necessities without feeling weighed down or uncomfortable. The Note bag has a spacious and beautifully finished interior, which I am always proud to show off. I have previously styled it both over the shoulder and cross-body, and I love the thick strap as it doesn't bend or dig into the skin. The Note bag is highly resistant but has no protective feet at the bottom, so always hang it up. 

My favourite way to wear this bag is with a simple white or black T-shirt, fitted pants or jeans, or a blazer. Its simple yet elegant look gives you lots of freedom when pairing it with your clothes.

I recommend the Note bag for those who like a more compact and structured bag that will adapt and follow you on your daily adventures.
