I have shared about my concerns regarding my scalp and hair in the past too, I am always on the lookout for something that will help my sensitive irritated itchy flakey scalp and also help with my rarely-growing hair which is in need of density and strength. Dercos Densi-Solutions Hair Mass Thickening Concentrate acts from the scalp for visibly stronger and denser hair. It is formulated to target weakened and damaged hair.

Overall, I am pretty impressed with this range, all the products work nicely in harmony with each other. My hair looks and feels strong, voluminous, and shiny. The tingly sensation makes me feel like its working, and these never irritated my scalp or made my scalp flaky or itchy. I do plan to keep using them and will repurchase. I will start first with the face masks, you may have known by now how much I love masks. I have three of their masks which I do make sure to include in my routine along with my other masks. They are amazing at keeping my pores clean, skin healthy, and giving me that glow. Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask keeps my pores clean and I feel I have few breakouts when I use it regularly. I feel this to be very soothing and never had any dryness after using this mask. Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask is a soothing mask and it does provide a cooling effect to the skin. It is my go to when I have been under the sun, or after I had an acid peel or something harsh or strong on the skin. Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask help with resurfacing of the skin and makes your skin cells work better to make the skin look glowy, plump and healthy. I have reviewed all these masks in detail here and they retail for CAD $34 each.

The Ideal Teint Makeup from Vichy is a beautiful combination of benefits of skincare in makeup. Teint Ideal Fluid Foundation (CAD $38) is a medium coverage foundation and is buildable. This foundation is suitable for normal to combination skin types and was perfect for me as it is both liquid and is suitable for my combination skin. Teint Ideal Bronzer (CAD $36) is a bronzer for natural sunkissed glow. It is suitable for normal skin types and for my combination skin type, it does not gives any irritation but just that natural glow. Teint Ideal Highlighter (CAD $27) is a multi-purpose highlighter suitable for all skin types. The product is packaged in a plastic tube with a roll-on applicator. It is best to say that it enhances the radiance and freshens up the complexion. I have reviewed all these in detail here.

For my skincare routine, I have few staples that I use in my routine when I have some congestion or feel like my skin is behaving. The products are from Vichy Normaderm range. Normaderm Skin Balance moisturizing acne treatment (CAD $19.95) is formulated for oily-acne prone skin. It sinks into the skin fairly quickly and is the perfect base to start moisturizing and then on to the makeup. Normaderm Corrective Anti-Acne Moisturizing Treatment (CAD $29.95) is formulated with Salicylic Acid and LHA to help minimize large pores, eliminate shine and reduce acne scars while fighting pimples & blackheads. Phe Resorcinol in this formulation combined with exfoliating LHA, reduces acne scars thanks to its de-pigmentating properties. I use this after the Normaderm Skin Balance moisturizing acne treatment and they both do work well with each other. I had a facial appointment last month and my esthetician did a lot of extractions and few of them, she didn't touch as they were tender, I was so clueless again whether it is the weather, hormones or just stress. She recommended me to use something with Salicylic acid and use light products for face avoiding the heavy balms and oils too. I know, I can't live without face oils, I will use the light one, maybe just a few drops. For the cleansing balms, my Emma Hardie Balm is already finished and the backup is on the way. This press package from Vichy came at the right time. I clicked the pictures of the products first and put them straight on my skincare shelf. I have been using the Vichy Products from their Normaderm range every morning since last one month and few times in the night routine too. I was sent Normaderm Deep Cleansing Gel ( CAD $19.95 excl taxes), Normaderm Skin Balance (CAD $19.95 excl taxes), Normaderm Corrective Anti Acne Treatment ( CAD $29.95 excl taxes), Normaderm Cleansing Mattifying Foam (CAD $19.95 excl taxes) and Mineralizing Thermal Water (CAD $13 excl taxes for full size).

Normaderm's Purifying Cleansing Gel is formulated with LHA, salicylic and glycolic acid. Salicylic Acid unclogs and deeply cleanses the pores. Glycolic Acid allows gentle peeling and fights with the acne bacteria. LHS gently smoothes skin texture and stimulates skin renewal without irritating the skin. This is a part of the treatment for acne prone skin. It cleanses away excess sebum and impurities, without over drying the skin. It helps minimize the look of large pores, eliminates shine and reduces acne scars while fighting pimples & blackheads.

I am not a fan of foaming cleansers as I feel they dry out my skin but after reading about this range, I decided to give it a try and I am not disappointed. This is a nice gel cleanser and works very well to clean the skin without making it overly dry or giving any irritation. I have used it as a first as well as a second cleanser too sometimes. I did not notice any issues but I felt it worked very well at keeping my skin concerns at bay or it may be that I am using the full Normaderm range which is why it is more effective.

Normaderm Skin Balance moisturizing acne treatment is formulated for oily-acne prone skin. This is a hydrating anti-shine aquagel which mattifies skin, reduces the size of large pores and provides a day-long fresh and clean skin sensation. This is a very lightweight gel and I have been using daily after cleansing and before the Normaderm Corrective Anti-Acne Treatment which is described next in this post. It sinks into the skin fairly quickly and is the perfect base to start moisturizing and then on to the makeup.

Normaderm Corrective Anti-Acne Moisturizing Treatment is formulated with Salicylic Acid and LHA to help minimize large pores, eliminate shine and reduce acne scars while fighting pimples & blackheads. Phe Resorcinol in this formulation combined with exfoliating LHA, reduces acne scars thanks to its de-pigmentating properties. Air Licium is another main ingredient which is an ultra-light aerogel, it helps reduce sebum production and minimizes large pores giving the skin a soft focus mattifying finish. I use this after the Normaderm Skin Balance moisturizing acne treatment and they both do work well with each other. Both these products, i use it on my face and neck area avoiding the eye area.

Normaderm Cleansing anti-shine Mattifying Foam cleanser is suitable for oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin. It cleanses the excess sebum and impurities and mattifies skin. The formula fights pimples, whiteheads, and blackheads. The results are soft and clean skin without over drying and irritated skin. I do not have an oily skin but combination skin, I was not much impressed with this mattifying foam as I am more into the clean, hydrated and dewy skin. Moreover, my skin does not produce a lot of oil that may give a shine to the skin but it is more of hormonal acne which is always my main concern to keep it in control. For the time I have used this cleanser, I did feel it mattifies the skin and would be perfect for oily acne-prone skin types.

Mineralizing Thermal Water is a refreshing mineralized thermal water that is perfect for either a little hydration kick to the skin or for a mid-day refresher in a hot day. I have had this little bottle in my bag since I received this, it feels so refreshing and alive. It has been very calming to the skin when I am traveling or if I am outdoors. It imparts a very pretty glow to the skin.

All the products I talked about in this post are hypoallergenic. I am glad I tried these products from the Vichy Normaderm range and I do feel the difference in my skin in terms of control over my existing and new acne, a great savior for my summer skin. I have a combination skin and my jawline is very prone to congestion. Due to the daily stress and due to the weather, my skin sometimes feels dull and dehydrated. SO all these factors can be worked upon by doing multiple masking. On my jawline I can use a purifying clay mask, for the dull and dry part, I can use a mineral mask that will help my skin to recover from dehydration. And then for some glow, I can use a mask with acid that will help with the regeneration and provide the glow. I was sent these masks for review purposes and I was more than happy to try and review these due to my skin which is, I accept, high maintenance sometimes due to the daily factors, like stress, hormones, weather, sleep conditions, eating habits and much more.

Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask is described to cleanse and refine pores. It contains Kaolin and Bentonite clay which helps clean the pores, leaving the skin clean. Kaolin clay has natural absorbency properties. It helps in detoxifying the skin. The texture of this mask is very smooth and it does not dry out the skin. It has a light minty fragrance which leaves the skin fresh and clean. The main ingredients of this mask are Mineralizing Thermal Water ( strengthens for stronger, healthier looking skin), Kaolin and Bentonite clay (absorb impurities and helps tighten pores) and Aloe Vera ( soothes and helps to keep skin hydrated). This mask is suitable for all skin types. I have used this mask couple of times and I felt my pores to be clean and I felt I had few breakouts with regular use. I feel this to be very soothing and never had any dryness after using this mask. I apply this mask on my whole face avoiding the eye area. Then I push lightly on my face with flat part of my fingers from center to the outside of the face to promote penetration and to stimulate the mask to get its full benefits. I keep this on for 5-7 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water.

Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask is described to instantly hydrate and soothe the skin, leaving the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. This is the first mineral rich mask from Vichy which is enriched with Mineralizing Thermal water that helps hydrate and soothe thirsty and uncomfortable skin. The texture of this mask is water gel which has a light fragrance of green tea, jasmine water, and bamboo which acts as a cold breeze to the skin making it fresh and providing the long lasting cooling effect. The vitamin B3 in this mask calms inflammation, soothes skin and leaves skin with radiance. The glycerin in this mask is a very good hydrating agent for skin. This mask is suitable for all skin types. This is my pick me up mask when I have been under the sun during the day and it just refreshes my skin very well. It does provide that soothing and cooling effect which stays on for a while. I apply this mask generously on the face and neck avoiding the eye area. Then I stimulate this mask by tapping on the skin with finger tips to get the full benefits of the minerals in this mask. I let this sit for 5-7 minutes and then massage the excess into the face. Depending on what I am doing at that time, I will either wipe off the excess from the face or wash my face with cold water.

Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask is described to leave skin glowing and radiant. This is the first mineral mask from Vichy which contains volcanic stone and AHA which gently peel off dead cells for a refined skin texture for a bright and luminous tone. The texture of this mask is a watery gel with a fragrance of peach, white musk and black tea which does makes the masking ritual very pleasurable and refreshing. The main ingredients of this mask are Mineralizing Thermal Water (strengthens for stronger, healthier looking skin), Volcanic stone ( Gently exfoliates), AHA  ( Gently peels off dead skin cells) and Vitamin C (Brightens skin tone). This mask is suitable for all skin types. I apply this mask on my face and let it sit for 5-7 minutes for the AHA peeling to happen and then I stimulate this mask by circular movement with my finger tips to exfoliate with the volcanic stone in it for few seconds. Then I rinse it off with cold water. I feel my skin is more glowy and clear after I use this mask. It does help with resurfacing of the skin and makes your skin cells work better to make the skin look glowy, plump and healthy.

I have been using these masks for both single maskings and for multi-masking depending on the condition and need of my skin.

When I have dry cheeks, oily t-zone area, and dull skin tone and my skin need an All-in-one Skin refresher, I use Vichy Double Glow Peel Mask on my forehead, Vichy Pore Purifying Clay Mask on my nose and chin area and Vichy Quenching Mineral Mask on my cheeks.

When I have dull skin and large pores and my skin needs a Tired Skin pick-me-up, I use Double Glow Peel Mask on the forehead, cheeks, and chin and Pore Purifying Clay Mask on the nose area.

When I have dry cheeks and oily t-zone area and my skin need something for balancing, I use Quenching Mineral Mask on my forehead, cheeks and chin and Pore Purifying Clay Mask on my nose area.
