Coach was founded as a men's leather brand in New York City in 1941 and has since evolved into a global fashion house. The brand fuses the rich legacy of American Craftmanship with a youthful new vibrancy and an emphasis on personalization. Coach has launched a new fragrance for men, called Coach for Men. Also, Coach is celebrating the first year anniversary of its Iconic fragrance for women called Coach Eau de Parfum. In this post, I will be describing the Coach Eau de Parfum & Coach for Men.
Coach for Men
Coach for Men is a new fragrance from the brand. It is described as an everyday essential, a luxury, a signature that makes a lasting impression and, like all things Coach, it is built to last. The packaging is in a beautiful heavy midnight blue shading glass bottle.The gunmetal spray cap is shaped like a turn lock, referencing the signature clasp on Coach Bags, which is an element that Coach's first creative director introduced in 1954. A hangtag adds a distinctive finishing touch, mirroring those placed on every Coach bag. The horse and carriage which are a symbol of Coach craftsmanship, are subtly embossed on the bottle.
The top notes of the fragrance are Green Nachi, Bergamot, and Kumquat. The middle notes are Cardamom, Coriander, and Geranium. The base notes are Vetiver Haiti LMR, Suede, and Ambergris. The fragrance is described to evoke a feeling that is energetic, confident, and cool. The fragrance would be perfect for all seasons. My tester for this fragrance is my husband and he has been wearing it every day on my request. It has a warm alluring effect, the wear time is nice, around 5-6 hours and is not very heavy but pleasant. James Franco is the face of the fragrance for his creativity, confidence, curiosity and innate style of the Coach Guy.
Coach for Men Eau de Toilette is available at Hudson's Bay, Sears, Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, Murale, Jean Coutu, Familiprix, and Uniprix. It retails for CAD $73 – 60ml and CAD $95 – 100ml.
Coach Eau de Parfum
Coach is celebrating the first year anniversary of its iconic fragrance for her. Coach Eau de Parfum is described to take its inspiration from the brand's iconic codes in an olfactory interpretation of modern luxury rooted in the cool, urban ambiance of New York. It is a fragrance full of contrasts, audacious and sparkling, sensual, and feminine. Stuart Vevers, Coach Creative Director, has been involved in every step of the creative process in developing Coach Eau de Parfum, ensuring it is the true representation of everything the brand stands for.
The bottle of this fragrance is feminine and sensual, a heavy glass oval inspired by the emblematic codes of the Coach House. The top notes are Raspberry which is bright and sparkling. The middle note is Turkish roses which make it romantic. The base notes are Suede Musk which makes it sensual. The fragrance would be perfect for all the seasons. It is not too heavy when worn but very light and fresh, clean and sensual which is the way I like most of the days. The wear time on my skin is almost a full day.
Coach Eau de Parfum is available at Hudson's Bay, Sears, Shoppers Drug Mart, Jean Coutu, Uniprix, and Murale. It retails for CAD $90 – 50ml and CAD $115 – 90ml.
