As Spring approaches, the first thing I change in my daily routine is the fragrance. And when I change the fragrance every season, I do relate the notes with the season as many of you might do. A particular note might feel and smell different to me in particular season and it might be very off for the other. For me, Spring is all about fresh, floral, or fruity notes blended with the base notes of my choice which keep my mood elevated all day. Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée Eau de Toilette is a fresh floral fragrance with the keynotes of Blackcurrant, Lily, and Musk. Miu Miu L'eau Rosée is a new take on the first fragrance from Miu Miu.
Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée Eau de Toilette (CAD $94 – 50ml) is described to capture the spirit of the Miu Miu girl. This soft floral fragrance created from lily of the valley and cassis buds is tightly wrapped in notes of sophisticated musk. The iconic matelassé bottle is magnified by the elegant alchemy of transparent glass and light pink juice, with a contrasting navy blue collar. The nose behind the fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. The juice is a soft floral created from lily of the valley and cassis buds, tightly wrapped in the notes of sophisticated musk. As the name suggests, Miu Miu L’Eau Rosée is dewy and alive, a brand new olfactory chapter that stays true to the youthful yet erudite Miu Miu story.
This is very beautiful scent, the perfect feminine rose scent. I do not find it very sweet but the perfect blend of sweetness yet light and airy. It feels very pleasant and elegant. The green notes and the floral notes with the base note of musk, what can I ask more, such a beautiful blend and so perfect for the spring and summer. Just want to mention here that Rosée here means ‘dew' as in dewdrop and not rose, so the focus is on the early spring vibe. The bottle as you see in pictures has matelassé-quilted glass, the navy blue band around the neck with house logo in gold. The bottle is heavy and feels really luxurious.
Miu Miu L'eau Rosée is available at Hudson's Bay, Beautyboutique by Shoppers Drug Mart, Sephora, and Nordstrom.
