As someone who’s loved the YSL Libre collection since the very first bottle, I had high hopes for the newest release — Libre L’Eau Nu — and let’s just say, it didn’t disappoint. In fact, it might be my favourite one yet. This version takes everything I adore about Libre and softens it into something lighter, fresher, and beautifully effortless.

The Scent: Fresh, Soft and Skin-Like
What I immediately noticed about Libre L’Eau Nu is how clean and airy it feels. It still carries that iconic orange blossom and lavender combo that made the original Libre so addictive, but here it’s dialed down with a luminous, almost watery freshness. The opening is bright, thanks to hints of green mandarin and bergamot, giving it a sparkling citrus lift that feels like the first sunny morning of spring.
As it settles, you get a gentle floral heart — still orange blossom, but lighter and more delicate. The lavender is softer too, blended seamlessly into a clean, skin-like dry down. It’s warm, subtle, and leaves a trail that feels like your skin but better.

Why I’m Obsessed
What makes this one of my all-time favourites is how wearable it is. I can spray it in the morning before a busy day or layer it on for a quiet dinner out — it works for both. It’s intimate, elegant, and never overpowering. It smells like you’ve just stepped out of the shower, wrapped in soft cotton, with a whisper of clean florals on your skin.
And can we talk about the bottle? The white lacquer finish with the gold YSL logo is just stunning. It’s one of those perfumes you want to leave out on your vanity because it’s as beautiful as it smells.
Final Thoughts
If you’re a fan of soft, fresh florals with a clean, contemporary feel, Libre L’Eau Nu is absolutely worth trying. It’s the perfect scent for spring and summer, and honestly, I see myself reaching for it all year round. One thing I love about the Yves Saint Laurent Libre collection is how solar and fun the perfume feels. Sensual, sweet and mysterious. This scent is the ultimate feminine perfume. Want to leave a lasting impression on those around you? Then this is the fragrance for you.
