When it comes to hair, I do have to work hard on them. I was blessed with beautiful thick wavy hair until the time I took care of my hair myself, then came the time I had chemical treatments, straightening, and what not which left my hair and scalp in dire need of help. Since then I am very particular in choosing the products and treatments for my scalp and hair. I do moisturize my scalp and hair before and after the wash, something which not only moisturizes but also nourishes and repairs them. I have been using Christophe Robin Moisturizing Hair Oil with Lavender and Christophe Robin Moisturizing Hair Cream.
Christophe Robin Moisturizing Hair Oil with Lavender is an ultra-nourishing and protecting lavender oil treatment suitable for all hair types. The treatment contains a combination of oils which include lavender and palm oil which work to restore the hair’s elasticity leaving it feeling reinvigorated. Damaged hair will be restored to reveal hair that is more manageable, shiny and soft. Contains vitamin E to treat the scalp. Plant oils protect the density and shine of the hair color. Christophe Robin Lavender Oil treatment will protect your hair from the damage caused by the sea, sun and wind and other environmental elements that can damage hair.
I prefer to use this oil as a pre-shampoo treatment to nourish my hair and scalp. The lavender scent also makes it a relaxing ritual. When leaving it overnight, it is very soothing. It is very nourishing, increases softness and shine of the hair, helps prevent breakage, protects against damage caused by environment, restores hair. When using it after washing and drying hair, a little is all I need and gives moisture and shine to the hair plus provides UV rays protection. While using this for over four months almost, I still have almost half of the product left. My hair is soft, shiny, and healthy. The oil is solid at normal tempurature, I keep it under warm water for few moments and it liquifies.
Christophe Robin Moisturizing Hair Cream prevents hair from drying out, repairs split ends on hair damaged by color treatments, heat, over-processing, and restores the hair's body and shine. This treatment, composed of 97.6% natural oils, helps to restore elasticity in hair fibers and prevents breakage. It also nourishes, moisturizes, and repairs the hair while protecting from sun, salt water, and chlorine. The non-greasy, non-sticky formula is enriched with moisturizing apricot kernel oil and extracts of sandalwood pulp to instantly penetrate into your hair — deeply hydrating it without weighing it down or altering the color. Complete with SPF 6 sun protection, it delivers beautiful shine and a subtle scent. It is formulated without parabens, sodium laureth sulfate, silicones, alcohol, ammonia, oxidants, colorants.
This is one of my favorite hair cream which I have been totally in love. I use it after every wash, either on my towel-dried hair and even after styling my hair, on the mid-lengths and ends. I take a pea-size of the product both on towel-dried and styled hair. It does not weigh down my dry medium fine wavy hair but my hair feels healthy, strong, and not dry. I do feel some shine and texture when using this. This is something I would always like to keep in my haircare routine. The cream does not feel greasy or oily but feels like it coats the hair without weighing it down.
