If you’re looking to dial up the elegance of your makeup routine with subtle radiance, Prada’s newest Light Collection has landed. I’ve been testing three pieces. The Highlighter Powder in 01 Champagne, and lip pieces Light Glowing Lip Oil Stick in U016 Rose and U014 White. And they’ve quickly earned a place on my vanity.
Prada Light Glowing Highlighter Powder 01 Champagne
The powder is described as a “glowing, weightless highlighter” that utilizes Micro-Pixel Pearls to deliver a pearlescent finish lasting up to 24 hours with no white cast.
What I love: the texture is ultra-fine, and it blends like a dream onto my cheekbones, brow bones, and the bridge of my nose. The shade 01 Champagne works beautifully on my skin tone, giving a soft, luminous glow rather than a glittery finish. One reviewer called it “perfect amount of glow.
For application: I use a fluffy brush, tap off excess, and sweep it on high points. It gives that high-end glow that looks like skin, but better.
Prada Light Glowing Lip Oil Stick U016 Rose & U014 White
Prada’s lip offering in the collection includes the Oil Stick formula. Described as an “oil-in-stick hybrid” that melts onto lips with up to 24 hours of care and hydration. It’s enhanced with Micro-Pixel™ Pearls for a refined glow.
- U016 Rose: A sheer candy-pink that adds a delicate flush of colour with a luminous finish.
- U014 White: A pearlescent white tone that acts more like a gloss/topper. Great for layering over another shade or wearing alone when you want subtle shine without strong pigment.
In real use, I’ve worn U016 for a soft, everyday look, and U014 when I want a light, glossy effect without significantly changing my lip colour. The texture is soothing, never sticky, and the glow is elegant.
The Verdict
This trio from the Light Collection feels luxe, thoughtful, and wearable. The highlighter provides a refined glow that enhances makeup without overpowering, and the lip oil sticks strike a balance between hydration and subtle sheen. If your go-to makeup vibe is polished, luminous, and effortlessly chic, these pieces will deliver.
Would I recommend? Yes—especially if you appreciate minimal shimmer, high-quality textures, and flexible usage (for both highlighter and lip). They may be on the premium side, but beauty splurges like this often become favourites you reach for again and again.
