The Results

My Experience

Eye puffiness, or as we call it, “bags”, are a common condition that most of us have had at one stage in our life. It is an everyday thing for me, so I wanted to try out Bareminerals concealer.

The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Brightening Concealer SPF 25 itself doesn't have high coverage, so I wouldn't recommend it to those who also have darker circles. That said, this concealer brightens and smooths the eye contour. You can wear it alone or with makeup, and it looks natural. After a few days of use, I could feel my eye contour ease u and become super comfortable. Deeply moisturizing, this concealer helps “perfect” your under the eye by using natural actives. Shades are excellent in this range and include most skin carnations.

My Review

I am looking for a flashy colour to brighten this holiday's winter season. I selected the lipstick in the shade “expressive”. It is a vibrant pinky/ purple shade that goes great with softer eye makeup. Before applying the lipstick, I wanted to widen my line for a slightly fuller look. To do so, I used the lip liner “mindful mulberry”. The liner is a classic pencil gliding on the lip effortlessly, giving excellent coverage and true-to-life colour. I covered the whole lip and then applied one layer of the mineralist lipstick. I love how thin it feels on the lip and how easy the applicator is to trace the lip line.

My Thoughts

bareMinerals Mineralist Lip Gloss-Balm is a nourishing and comfortable lip balm that also imparts shine and color. The consistency of the lip gloss-balm is nice to glide on the lips effortlessly and feel comfortable. Once applied to the lips, I do not feel any stickiness or feel it to be heavy on the lips. The lip balm-gloss has a sheer to sheer-medium coverage. It is very moisturizing even when my lips are dry and peeling. My lips are soft and it soothes the lips. The longevity of the lip gloss-balm is nice, stays on my lips for over 4 hours. My lips are hydrated even after the gloss has worn off. I tend to reapply it after 3 hours or so for the shiny finish. It does not settle into the lines once it is worn off.

On its own, it gives a sheer, glossy color while on top of lipstick, it adds shine and dimension. Overall, a very nice formula that is nourishing while providing color and shine to the lips.

Apart from this new lip gloss-balm, I am also enjoying the new bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer. It is such a smooth and beautiful formula. It is a blush and bronzer in one.

bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer combines the hint of colour of the blush with the warmth of a bronzer. The two-in-one product has a very lightweight and silky texture. It is very soft and applies beautifully to the skin without any harsh lines. Once applies, it blends without effort to give a beautiful natural flush. The blonzer brightens the complexion overall without emphasizing any problem areas or pores. It is sort of blurring the pores and problem areas.

bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer is available in 3 shades. The shades will suit most of the skin tones, fair, medium, and dark. The formula is easily buildable.

• Kiss of Copper – copper peach
• Kiss of Pink – warm pink
• Lastly, Kiss of Rose – bronzed rose

All the shades look beautiful and sun-kissed on the skin. The silky texture blends in without effort. I see a nice healthy glow on the skin without looking heavy or too shiny. Once applied, I do not feel it on my skin. The balance between the blush and bronzer tones is nicely done. Each shade adds a hint of color and warmth to the skin. There is no orangey finish but a very natural glow and warmth. I can totally compare the finish to the skin's natural flush after spending a day in the sun. Also, as the formula is pigmented, a single swipe gives a nice color. I use a very light hand and build as needed.

Overall, I am in love with this blonzer. I use the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer blush + bronzer in a W shape to create a naturally sun-kissed look on the high points of the face.
