The Mask

This creamy, deeply nourishing hair mask was created to target dry & damaged hair. Suitable for every hair type, especially dry ones. With rejuvenating powers, it helps reduce the appearance of split ends, strengthens hair and leaves a silky touch with a glossy finish. This mask is also great for people who have chemically treated hair.

Inside a pink and white pot, I found this product to be a good size and easy to open under the shower(250ml). Not so ideal for travelling due to its packaging, it takes up some space in a bag.

The number of times you wash your hair in a week varies depending on your scalp/ hair in general. The scalp is the root of healthy hair. Hidden away under those beautiful locks is your skin.

It can be dry, greasy, sensitive, etc. And this affects the number of washes you will need. Similar to facial skin, the opposite effect happens if you overwork it. It's important to separate the scalp and hair as each product will target a specific zone.

Example: A greasy scalp may still have dry, split ends.

What's inside?

Inside this light creamy formula, you will find Prickly Pear Oil. A unique, not so known active that leaves your hair feeling supple and deeply moisturized.

Followed by Biomimetic Ceramides that smooth out frizz and tighten split ends for a softer feeling.

Enriched with the Vitamin F Complex the hair is revitalized.

My Results

I used the Christophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask for three weeks on long hair. A gentle fragrance envelops the hair and leaves a smooth, controlled result. I used a good quantity of the product and combed it through my hair untangling my lengths ( breaks less hair). Leave it for a couple of minutes, then rinse.

Visible results after the first mask: I noticed a glossy finish and more manageable hair. The product texture was nice, not too rich, and washed out quickly. This hair mask is great to use weekly to boost your haircare routine.

For volume, I have been really enjoying Christophe Robin Cleansing Volumizing Paste with Rose Extracts.

My Thoughts

I have tried many hair products in my life, but this is one of the best ones I have come across. The product actually works, and it's totally worth the money. It smells good, is easy to use, and delivers what it promises!

The Cleansing Volumizing Paste is a paste that you can use on your hair before shampooing your hair. The paste will remove all dead skin cells from your scalp and give a deep cleansing effect to your scalp as well as a volumizing effect for your hair strands.

When you hear ‘cleansing balm’, you might automatically think of skincare. But this brand has revolutionized the world of hair with a cleansing balm specifically for your scalp and hair.

The Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Cleansing Balm with Kokum Butter is a shampoo with a balmy texture. It works to cleanse the scalp and detangle strands while nourishing it at the same time with its kokum butter ingredient. Adding a shot of moisture to curly hair is important, as its texture tends to be drier.

Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Conditioning Cleanser

The range also features the Luscious Curl Conditioning Cleanser with Chia Seed Oil. This product acts as a deep-cleaning shampoo that seamlessly detangles stubborn knots in curly hair.

It has a foaming formula, which leaves locks feeling squeaky clean after use.

Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Defining Butter

There are also several styling products in the range. Finishing products are ultra-important for curly hair, as they can tame frizz and add the definition that curls need. Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Defining Butter with Kokum Butter is a heavy-duty product, created for super curly to coily hair. It works like a leave-in hair mask and aids hair repair. The formula is very rich and heavy, which means that even the most stubborn frizz will be kept at bay.

Just like the curl cleansing balm, it contains kokum butter, an ingredient that targets adding definition to curly hair while keeping it feeling nourished and soft. This formula also contains nigella chia seed oils and flaxseed milk, which help to rebuild the structure within each strand, leaving hair appearing more healthy overall.

Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Defining Cream

Last but not least, and probably my favourite product from the range, is the Luscious Curl Defining Cream with Chia Seed Oil. A lot lighter on the hair than its buttery counterpart, it’s ideal for those that have finer hair. It’s super lightweight on the strands, so there is no risk of it appearing flat or greasy even on the thinnest hair.

While it leaves curls looking perfectly defined, it’s also packed with chia seed oil, which is full of fatty acids that leave hair looking glossy and feeling soft.

Overall, this range impressed me. I was careful not to go overboard when using each product, as with this range, less is definitely more! Each product contains very impressive, nourishing ingredients and I found that my hair appeared significantly less frizzy after use. It is rare to find a curl-defining product that isn’t too heavy. I definitely found the solution to this in the Curl Defining Cream. My hair appeared shinier, had a better texture, and just felt healthier all around. I’m a fan!

Another staple from the brand is the Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt and Hydrating Melting Mask with Aloe Vera.

Cleansing Purifying Scrub is a staple for my sensitive and oily scalp that has buildup and sometimes dandruff. It is the only product I reach out for when my scalp needs some extra care. Also, when I feel my scalp is itchy or irritated or has product buildup, I trust this product. I apply a tablespoon equivalent of the product to my damp hair and scalp. Then, I gently massage Cleansing Purifying Scrub while adding some water that lathers it. It does not feel rough or hard at all. It immediately soothes and calms any irritation. Once rinsed, it does make my hair tangle and a little dry but then, I follow up with my favorite Detangling Gelee with Sea Minerals from Christophe Robin. It is such an amazing combination. But you can follow with any of your favorite conditioner or mask after rinsing off this scrub. The scrub exfoliates, cleanses, rebalances, and calms the scalp.

The Scent

This limited-edition La Bretagne version of Cleansing Purifying Scrub infuses the hair with a fresh, invigorating, and aromatic fragrance. It makes me think of the salty seawater blowing over the cliffs and waves crashing the rocks on the shores. The opening of the scent is pine, then comes the aquatic notes, and the base is sandalwood, musk accord with hints of patchouli. The scent is very uplifting and calming. It takes the whole experience, even for me who is using the original version for years now, to a whole new level. I can smell the scent while in the shower as well as sometime after unless I am using a fragranced conditioner after it.

Overall, Cleansing Purifying Scrub is my go-to and this new limited-edition version is such a welcome. I hope this cult-favorite product adds this version to the permanent collection. Moreover, I like the overall concept and fresh change to the bestseller from the brand. Other products I love from Christophe Robin are Hydrating range with Aloe Vera and the Hydrating Melting Mask with Aloe Vera.

Its nourishing formula enriched with shea butter, rich in vitamins, omega 3 and 6, boosts nutrition. The moringa acts like a shield against pollution, heat, and color oxidation. It also seals the hair’s cuticles for a structured and frizz-free finish. It is suitable for all hair types, especially the frizziest hair. The key is the amount of product you use. I always suggest starting with the minimal amount. And if you feel the need for more, then go ahead and take more. It works nicely for everyday use on damp hair and even on dry hair for touch-ups.

The formula is non-sticky and has a residue-free milky texture. I have experienced my medium wavy dry hair look and feel healthy, moisturized, and shiny with minimal flyaways. And It does not weigh them down. I use Anti-Frizz Rescue Milk on dry hair for touchups after heat styling as I use the Luscious curls cream on damp hair. But I have tried using them both together and in a reverse manner. They both work nicely, depends on how you get used to using them.

Per the instructions to use Anti-Frizz Rescue Milk – ‘Apply the milk on damp hair from root to tip, including baby hair around the hairline. Blow-dry or air dry. As a touch-up, apply the milk to dry hair to eliminate even the most stubborn frizz.'

Luscious Curl Cream with Flaxseed Oil

Luscious Curl Cream with Flaxseed Oil is a styling leave-in cream for bouncy curls. It also provides a triple action of nourishing, protecting, and styling the hair. Its nourishing formula enriched with shea butter, rich in vitamins, omega 3 and 6, boosts nutrition. The moringa acts like a shield against pollution, heat, and color oxidation while sealing the hair’s cuticles for a structured and frizz-free finish. I feel my hair is instantly nurtured and protected for bouncier, transformed, and perfectly defined curls. I also use it as a heat protectant before heat styling and have noticed it gives me volume too. The cream has a non-greasy, non-sticky, and residue-free creamy texture. I use it on its own or sometimes with Anti-Frizz Rescue Milk.

To use – ‘Apply the cream evenly on damp hair from root to tip. Blow-dry hair using a diffuser or air dry. As a touch-up, apply the cream to dry hair for even bouncier curls. ‘

Overall, Anti-Frizz Rescue Milk with Shea Butter and Luscious Curl Cream with Flaxseed Oil are both amazing. I love these new additions to my hair care routine, especially as the weather is getting colder.

Christophe Robin hair care products are always in my haircare routine. My favorites include the Regenerating Mask. It has helped my damaged and weak hair so much. I do not even feel like I had so brittle and weak hair since I started using it.
