My Review

As a long lover of creamy eyeshadows, I had to try the Byredo colour sticks! I love these three shades and am amazed by the long-lasting and intense colours. I recommend these eyeshadow sticks to makeup artists of all levels as they are easy to use and don't make a mess. The colour sticks are also great for blushers or highlighters, as they blend perfectly into natural skin or other makeup. The color sticks are one of my favorite stick eyeshadows and will be my go-to for the 2024.

The Eyeshadow Crayon You Need

Eyeshadow crayons are nothing new to the cosmetic world, but Iconic has designed the longest-lasting no-budge glitter eyeshadow. Available in 12 unique shades, the brand offers the softest touch of light to the deepest shade of blue. When both sides of the crayon are applied, your glitter glaze will captivate. The crayon has a well-balanced texture making it easy to glide on but not greasy.

Two Looks In One Crayon

The Iconic crayon brings so many options to the table. On one side, you have shimmering, ultra-mesmerising metallic pigmented eyeshadow that captures and reflects light for an eye-opening, fresh look.

On the other end, there is an ultra-rich, non-sticky glitter gel. You can apply this gel to the crayon or any other eyeshadow. Its effortlessly glossy, gorgeous glow takes any shade from soft and sweet to elegant and extra. The super silky eyeshadow crayon blends to perfection and, when combined with the glittery gloss, creates a beautiful wet look on the eye.

My Experience

Most of us have already tried out crayon eyeshadows, but this is the best. Iconic cosmetics are well known for their long-lasting results, so I was excited to blast this one. The crayon is a double-sided eyeshadow that can be used in many ways. I adore the metallic shimmer the shades give off and how they don’t transfer.

The glittery gloss works well with all eyeshadows and also looks great alone. I used it over my eyeshadows, liner, and inner corner of my eye. The glitter is high-quality, and the shades are highly pigmented for a long-lasting look.

The Iconic London Glaze Dual-Ended Eyeshadow Crayon is easy to slip in the bag for touch-ups and should be kept away from direct sun or heat. The crayons can create a blurred or gradient eyeshadow but must be worked reasonably quickly before setting. My favourite shades are “after hours” and “champagne”.

This whole set was designed around the memory and personality of Ellis Faas. Professional makeup artist, visual creator and makeup brand creator, Ellis never stopped inspiring and innovating in the beauty industry. Her brand inspires people with huge freedom of expression.

The brand has released multiple sets, all having their specialty. But this one was closer to the heart. A good point to this one is that you get the complete look!

The Fantastic Four

Dressed in a golden pocket are the four products Ellis adored most. These shades and textures were the products Ellis herself would wear and use regularly in her looks.

Ellis Faas's Unforgettable Set is a pure memory of her and her makeup style:

1. Creamy Lips L101- Colour: Blood-red

This vibrant lip-defining cream has a highly pigmented, comfortable texture. As the name says it has a deep bloody red shade. Bring out your inner star. Quick and easy to apply, I adored the cushioned applicator. You can wear it in different intensities depending on the desired look.

-For a subtle lip tint use the leftover lip cream to stain the lip.

-To draw the lip I started with a small amount of product to shape my contour and then applied more product to cover the lips.

2. Creamy Eyes E105 – Colour: Deep warm taupe.

This magical liquid eyeshadow is a quick-drying, water-resistant formula. I applied it using the applicator on my natural skin. The results are impressive: it has a perfect metallic cover and doesn't crease or smudge. Ellis was so proud of this shade, she often used it herself.

You can use your finger or the applicator to blend and apply the shade.

3. Lights Highlighter E303 – Deep glow.

If you are looking for a natural shimmer then this does the trick. Attracting light to zones you place it, it structures and illuminates your face. I particularly liked the finely milled particles that reflect the light without any glittery effect. It is a deep shade in the set, so it will give a bronzed glow for very fair skins.

You can apply the highlighter over the top of the creamy eye shadow for a more sophisticated eye.

4. Mascara E401 – Black.

Lengthening and separating the lashes, my eyes instantly looked bigger and brighter. This mascara is suitable for everyone. I created different looks: some subtle or with a prominent accent. It builds up easily in layers to get a deep, hypnotizing look. It has an intense black shade that easily slides on the lash. Ellis designed this mascara to be as practical as possible.

Goodies

It doesn't end there, inside the Ellis Faas Unforgettable Set I also received four Ellis clips and postcards with 6 visuals she created. I framed them and used them to style my makeup bar.

After wearing the products multiple times, I understand why they are so successful. The lightweight textures and long-lasting shades are what we all wish for. I will be trying more shades!
