Formula

The formula of Rouge Decorte is inspired by the brand's Liposome Technology. That means it is deeply moisturizing as well as long-lasting. Moreover, it stays comfortable on the lips all day. The key ingredients include Organic Murumuru Butter, Rose Extract, and Jasmine Extract for their moisturizing properties. Also, there are Mallow extract and Lemon extract for their antioxidant content.

Finishes

Rouge Decorte comes in five different finishes: Shine, Glow, Satin, Velvet, and Matte. The shade range is vast, from bright hues to everyday neutrals. Below is the description of the five finishes:

• Velvet Rouge – It has an elegant soft-matte finish with a gentle moisture.
• Shine Rouge – It provides a glossy shine to the lips while conditioning them. Also, it is lightweight.
• Satin Rouge – It imparts a delicate moisture sheen to the lips with a glossy feeling.
• Matte Rouge – It is a soft and smooth lipstick that has powdery matte finish,
• Glow Rouge – It provides a super-moist shine that is perfect for anytime of the day. The wet dewy finish looks so pretty.

My Thoughts

Overall, the texture and finish of the Rouge Decorte are very comfortable on the lips. The choice in the finish, depending on one's choice, is perfect for everyday wear. I find the lipstick glides easily on the lips and melts to give a beautiful hint of color with the finish of choice. The lip color is pigmented and the intensity is easily buildable. I find the longevity of the lipstick is nice. Depending on the finish you choose, the longevity differs a bit. For example, the longevity is a little less than matte and velvet rouge for a glow or shine or satin finish. And I do not mind reapplying when I feel comfortable in a specific formula and finish. Overall, my lips are soft and supple with the pigment of my choice.

Moreover, the Rouge Decorte ‘Signature Red‘ is also available in all five finished. It is so amazing. Usually what happens is that a shade of red that suits me is not available in the finish I prefer but not in this case. The red brightens up the face with its strong presence. Also, the lipstick has a subtly green floral scent that fades quickly. It adds a refreshing touch to the whole experience.

I love a nice glossy finish on the lips with my favorite eye glow gem shade from the brand. Even there is an option to pick the finish in the eye glow gems. Decorte Loose Powder is another favorite of mine. It gives the most beautiful radiance and finishes without feeling heavy or emphasizing any problem areas or dryness on the skin.

Decorte Powder Blush

This soft-powder blush melts into the skin instantly. It imparts true colour along with glow-from-within translucent radiance. The formula glides onto the cheeks, blends in nicely. It did not emphasize any problem areas but did blur them out. The finish is semi-matte with a delicate soft glow which looks very natural. The staying power is really nice and stays on for a whole day for over 7 hours. It works nicely for a no-makeup look and for a soft glamorous everyday look. I use it with my blush brush and a little goes a long way, gives a beautiful natural hint of colour to the cheeks. Decorte Contouring Eyeshadow palette

Decorte Contouring Eyeshadow palette has four textures to create a contrast between shadow and light. The four different textures in the palette can be used to create radiance and shading to give definition to the eyes. There is an illuminating shade to concentrate light, it is luminous, helps banish dullness. To layer over the illuminating shade is the highlighter colour which diffuses light over the entire eyelid and boosts definition. The third colour is the accent colour to allow a bright effect with dark colours. The darkest shade helps with further overall definition depending on the look you want to create. The texture is soft and blends easily. The formula is pigmented and easily buildable. The shades work nicely whether alone and in contrast with each other, the lightest shade does works as a nice highlighter too, on the high points of the face or on the brow bone.

Overall, quality formulas and performance are good, great for everyday use.

Decorte Nail Enamel

Decorte Nail Enamel is described as a new generation of lacquer that utilizes contact lens technology, each formula is infused with O2 Transformer™, an oxygen-permeable resin that creates a “breathable environment” for the nail. Advanced skincare actives deliver anti-oxidant and moisturizing benefits to help improve overall nail health while delivering exceptional performance; one-pass uniform coverage, high-gloss finish, quick-drying and long-wear. The nail enamel is available in 19 Shades. It is paraben-free and toluene-free.

I love a good nail color and if the formula is quick-drying, moisturizes my nails, looks great, keeps my nails in good condition, I am all for it. I have two shades swatched in this post and the third one is the base or topcoat which is clear.

The shade RD441 is a beautiful red shade which I am loving, it is a beautiful shade of red that will look great on most of the skin tones. It makes my hands look so nice and bright, I would say they look so alive and young in this color, never makes them look dull. The formula does dry quickly and the finish is glossy.

The other shade I have is Decorte Nail Enamel in PK843 which is a pinkish neutral shade on my skin tone and is really pretty. Even this shade does not make my hands look dull or washed out, but is a pretty neutral shade making them look fresh and nice.

Decorte base and topcoat

Decorte base and topcoat is described as a serum base formula that offers a high-gloss, lasting finish. It utilizes contact lens technology, each formula is infused with O2 Transformer™, an oxygen-permeable resin that creates a “breathable environment” for the nail. Advanced skincare actives deliver anti-oxidant and moisturizing benefits to help improve overall nail health while delivering exceptional non-yellowing, high-finish performance.

It can be applied as a base coat to smooth the irregularities of the nail bed and can be applied as a topcoat, after nail enamel is completely dry, for a durable, high gloss finish. Based on the need, it can be used in both ways.

Decorte Dip in Glow

Decorte Dip in Glow cream highlighter is described as a soft-to-the-touch highlighter for full-on luminosity. Packed with serum-like actives and moisturizing benefits, a glow-from-within effect is created that no powder can achieve. Use under foundation for lasting radiance. Perfect to accent cheeks, the arch of the brow, and any other areas for an intense highlight effect. It applies nicely with fingertips. Sweep fingertips gently over the surface as the product is very soft. The formula of this cream highlighter is so soft, creamy, and melts into the skin. It looks very natural and gives a beautiful radiance to the skin. It looks great even on the eyelids to give them a glowy finish, just alone or even on another eyeshadow. The staying power is nice and stays put for the whole day.

Decorte eye glow gem

The Decorte eye glow gem is indeed a gem for me, it is one of my favorite eyeshadows. I have reviewed the formula and a few shades here in detail. I am so happy to add this shade BR380 into my collection. It has a dewy-like texture blends effortlessly for a lasting hold of high-impact three-dimensional color. Moreover, this eyeshadow does not get dull or smudge and gives a lasting, beautiful finish. The shade taupe gives a nice depth to the eyes. It is an everyday shade that I have been using most of the days at work.

Overall, I would recommend these products for their formulas and shade range. They are not new to me but have been using them in my daily makeup routine, check my Insta stories regularly to see how these look on me.

Decorte Eye Glow Gem

Decorte Eye Glow Gem is a lustrous eyeshadow color that glides softly and lightly over eyelids. Based on the mood, different looks can be created by one or more of the eyeshadow.

I have been really impressed with these eyeshadows, they are one of the softest and luxurious formulas I have used. The texture is very soft and creamy, it glides on very smoothly on the lids. A single swipe is enough to give color and to build it, I go for another one from the same shade or dab the other one on the center of my eyelids to create the dimension. The staying power is pretty well. I had it on for the whole day and could still see it nicely sitting on my lids with a little creasing by the end of the day. A single swipe is enough for the everyday work look along with Decorte Sheer Brilliance. I really like the soft dewy finish of these glow gems.

The shades are really beautiful. I have swatched BR382 and BR383. They both are nice shades for a day or night look, they apply effortlessly and are great to have in the bag for having the intense look in the evening when going straight to a party or get-together from work. It is available in 30 shades to choose from.

Decorte The Rouge

Decorte The Rouge is a lipstick available in both matte and glow formulas, for a high-pigmented finish that suits every woman's needs. The glow formula provides moisturizing, lustrous, and fresh colors with a soft, balm-like texture and a melting touch. The matte lipstick is very pigmented, moisturizing and makes the lip softer, fuller, and firmer.

The glow formula is available in 13 shades and the matte in 5 shades. I have been using these for the last few days and really like the formula. They did not dry out my lips and are comfortable to wear. The staying power is good as is the texture. It is very moisturizing and makes the lips look nice and plump. The formula glides on very easily on the lips and does not emphasize the lines. The shades swatched are RD 456 and BE 354 which are both perfect for day or night and casual or outing wear.

Decorte Sheer Brilliance

Decorte's first-ever tinted skin perfector with SPF is Decorte Sheer Brilliance. This gorgeous, weightless formula delivers protection against harmful UVA and UVB rays with the inclusion of SPF 32. With one, light coat, visibly sweep away fine lines, pores, and other skin imperfections. It also helps with unwanted redness and to fade dark spots. The finish is a natural radiance and an even-toned complexion.

The key ingredients include the calming properties of Decorte Transient Onsen Water, Algae-based X-Inflam Defense (helps skin against damages caused by environmental stress), Cell-surround 360 degree (envelops cells with powerful anti-oxidant), SPF 32 Broad Spectrum Protection (shields skin from UVA/UVB rays).

I have used this product a few times and my skin looks nice and fresh with this. There is no irritation or breakouts that I noticed. The shade medium is a nice match for me. The formula is a little runny but easy to apply and blends in nicely with the skin. The texture is so super light despite SPF in it. My pores and imperfections are less noticeable. Moreover, the tint is just the right amount for a natural healthy look like the way tint should be.

Decorte Sheer Brilliance is a nice go-to for good skin days. I do have to use a concealer with this one. That is because the tint is about minimal coverage and a better version of the skin. I make sure to shake the bottle before applying.
