Decorte Kimono Fragrance Collection comprises five scents:

• Kimono Tsuya: Floral musk. Deep in its heart, the Japanese Magnolia is combined with Sublime Rose Essence and Peony. The perfume ends on a natural cedarwood note, followed by a fresher touch of Rose Essence and Yuzu.
• Kimono Kihin: Floral chypre. The fragrance has powdery floral notes centred around the Japanese Iris. Fruity and fresh, the following notes of Bergamot, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Lemon, and Peach bring a fun touch to the perfume. It finishes on a warmer, smooth Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk, and Vanilla note.

• Kimono Rin: Woody floral. This scent is built around Japanese Candied Plums (Ume). Deep notes of Patchouli, vetiver and vanilla add a rich earthy note. Combined with the Jasmine for contrast, the perfume has a sensual and calm aura.
• Kimono Yui: Floral. Working around the traditional scent of the Sudachi fruit, a small, green citrus fruit. This scent has a zesty, vibrant touch to it. The perfume's heart gains a warmer, almost summer feel with Neroli, Orange Flower, and Rose.
• Lastly, Kimono Urara: Fresh floral. This fragrance takes a more intimate approach to perfume. Built around the aquatic plant, the Water Lily and combined with accents of Melon and Fuji Apple from the Aomori Prefecture.

My Experience

It was my first shot at trying the Decorte body care range, and I have to say I am gladly surprised. The lotion and hand creams are great for those who want to prolong their perfume or have a healthy, scented glow to their skin, unlike the general perfumed creams. These products have a high concentration of skincare actives. Meaning they don't only smell good but work.

After using them for a week, my skin was incredibly smooth. With the colder seasons coming, I would 100% recommend them.

Also, I am almost finished with the Decorte Hydra Clarity Range, and the products are excellent. I enjoyed using them. Also, the newest Liquid Foggy Rouge and Liquid Dewy Rouge from the brand are my go-to.

The Liquid Dewy Rouge

This range of lipsticks is a liquid formula. Easy to apply, the light, silky texture melts on the lip. With an incredibly high pigmented colour, it lasts hours on the go. As the name mentions, the liquid leaves a glossy finish to your lip, adding volume. Decorte enriched the range with deeply hydrating actives to keep your lips soft.

The liquid dewy rouge exists in 10 shades, ranging from Red, pink-rose, brown-beige, orange and clear tones. You can create a subtle tint or a deep, rich-coloured lip with plenty of choices.

Review

I have multiple shades and adore each one. I love how easy it is to build a rich shade or add a gentle tint to my lips. Also, I found it easy to apply and create a sharp line with this brush. The liquid is applied using a sponged applicator stored inside the bottle.

It keeps its glossy finish for a good period and is always comfortable on the lip. It is ideal for those who want a natural, volumized lip.

The Liquid Foggy Rouge

This range of lipsticks is very close to the first one I presented. The texture and ingredients inside are identical but have a different finish. Named the “”foggy”” range, it leaves a smooth, matte finish. Helping to protect your lips, it doesn't dry out or become uncomfortable. Available in 5 shades from red, cassis, be stylish, to dried flower. It offers a more pronounced look. In general, matte lipsticks have higher coverage, so keep that in mind if you want a natural look.

Review

I recently discovered the matte finish and have to say I like them. You can get a high coverage look with precisely the same texture and light feeling. I was pretty impressed when it came to how long it lasted. My lips looked and felt great when I put the lipstick on. It only budged when I drank or ate something.

Formula

The formula of Rouge Decorte is inspired by the brand's Liposome Technology. That means it is deeply moisturizing as well as long-lasting. Moreover, it stays comfortable on the lips all day. The key ingredients include Organic Murumuru Butter, Rose Extract, and Jasmine Extract for their moisturizing properties. Also, there are Mallow extract and Lemon extract for their antioxidant content.

Finishes

Rouge Decorte comes in five different finishes: Shine, Glow, Satin, Velvet, and Matte. The shade range is vast, from bright hues to everyday neutrals. Below is the description of the five finishes:

• Velvet Rouge – It has an elegant soft-matte finish with a gentle moisture.
• Shine Rouge – It provides a glossy shine to the lips while conditioning them. Also, it is lightweight.
• Satin Rouge – It imparts a delicate moisture sheen to the lips with a glossy feeling.
• Matte Rouge – It is a soft and smooth lipstick that has powdery matte finish,
• Glow Rouge – It provides a super-moist shine that is perfect for anytime of the day. The wet dewy finish looks so pretty.

Below are the shades of Rouge Decorte that I have swatched for your reference in the order below:

• 02 Signature Red (glow)

My Thoughts

Overall, the texture and finish of the Rouge Decorte are very comfortable on the lips. The choice in the finish, depending on one's choice, is perfect for everyday wear. I find the lipstick glides easily on the lips and melts to give a beautiful hint of color with the finish of choice. The lip color is pigmented and the intensity is easily buildable. I find the longevity of the lipstick is nice. Depending on the finish you choose, the longevity differs a bit. For example, the longevity is a little less than matte and velvet rouge for a glow or shine or satin finish. And I do not mind reapplying when I feel comfortable in a specific formula and finish. Overall, my lips are soft and supple with the pigment of my choice.

Moreover, the Rouge Decorte ‘Signature Red‘ is also available in all five finished. It is so amazing. Usually what happens is that a shade of red that suits me is not available in the finish I prefer but not in this case. The red brightens up the face with its strong presence. Also, the lipstick has a subtly green floral scent that fades quickly. It adds a refreshing touch to the whole experience.

I love a nice glossy finish on the lips with my favorite eye glow gem shade from the brand. Even there is an option to pick the finish in the eye glow gems. Decorte Loose Powder is another favorite of mine. It gives the most beautiful radiance and finishes without feeling heavy or emphasizing any problem areas or dryness on the skin.

My Thoughts

Eye Glow Gems are now available in a total of 33 shades including the 3 new additions I have swatched below. That includes glossy satin and steamy matte finishes. The soft bouncy texture of the eyeshadows applies and blends like a dream. I prefer using my fingertip to apply these. They are very easy to work with. The intensity is buildable from sheer to intense. The eye glow gem feels moist and light in the little pot. Once applied, it sits nicely while still being very lightweight.

I like that the steamy matte finish looks natural and stays true natural matte. The matte is not dull or flat. I did not notice it cakey or settling into the eyelid fold of my oily lids. Moreover, the longevity of the eyeshadows is impressive. They stay put together for the whole day with little to no smudging by the end of the day. Above all, they look fresh and nice all day.

Other shades of Decorte Eye Glow Gem that I like are BR301, BR304, and BE802. Decorte Loose Powder is one of the silkiest powders I have tried and is a staple for me. Also, their Lip Oils are worth checking out if you need a little hint of color in a nourishing non-sticky formula.
