After trying each product I selected my favourite shades and created this guide to help you choose yours. So let's get started!

Creamy Lips

The Creamy Lip Range

This dreamy cream textured lipstick offers a traditional coverage with a long-wearing result. Light on the lip gives your lips a boost of vitamin E.

How to use it?

Its cushion applicator is very simple to use. Start by releasing a small amount of product to draw the lips and then fill them in with more product.

The Shade

This pale peach tint L108 is a soft, warm pink shade. Gentle enough to wear daily it offers natural, plumped-up lips.

Milky Lips

The Milky Lips Range

This light fluid offers a highly pigmented, covering shade. If you don't like heavy textures then this one's for you. The finishing result varies from a glossy lip to a subtle stain.

How to use it?

Using the brush application, apply a small amount of fluid to the lip. Then either fill in the lip or tap it on for a matte stained look.

The Shade

The name gives us a good idea of the intensity of this shade. The Blood red L201 Shade offers a deep, audacious colour to your look.

Good points:

-Extra light texture.

-A small amount goes far.

Glazed Lips

The Glazed Lips Range

This highly-pigmented, non-sticky lip-gloss offers an ultra-wet look. With its long-lasting formula, it tints the lip leaving slight transparency. Enriched in Omegas 3 and 6 your lips look and feel fuller.

How to use it?

Using the brush applicator you apply the gloss according to the desired look. To even out the shade pinch your lips.

The Shade

The sheer deep coral L307 offers an orangy pink pop to your lip. The reflecting light adds volume, whilst the time discreetly adds some warmth to your look.

My Opinion

-Not sticky.

-Moisturizes the lips.

-Smooths lip lines.

Hot Lips

The Hot Lips Range

This ridiculously pigmented lipstick will last you forever. A small amount of this non-greasy, vibrant colour will offer you a high coverage shade. Longwearing, it is perfect for meals or nights out. Although it is long wear, the texture does not dry out your lips.

How to use it?

Start with a tiny amount of product and draw the contour of your lips. After that fill in the lips with more product and tap for even distribution.

The Shade

The L409 pink nude offers a sophisticated, sharp lip colour. With an underlying beige tint, it matches all make-up styles.

My Opinion

-Little transfer.

-Economical.

-Colour popping.

This whole set was designed around the memory and personality of Ellis Faas. Professional makeup artist, visual creator and makeup brand creator, Ellis never stopped inspiring and innovating in the beauty industry. Her brand inspires people with huge freedom of expression.

The brand has released multiple sets, all having their specialty. But this one was closer to the heart. A good point to this one is that you get the complete look!

The Fantastic Four

Dressed in a golden pocket are the four products Ellis adored most. These shades and textures were the products Ellis herself would wear and use regularly in her looks.

Ellis Faas's Unforgettable Set is a pure memory of her and her makeup style:

1. Creamy Lips L101- Colour: Blood-red

This vibrant lip-defining cream has a highly pigmented, comfortable texture. As the name says it has a deep bloody red shade. Bring out your inner star. Quick and easy to apply, I adored the cushioned applicator. You can wear it in different intensities depending on the desired look.

-For a subtle lip tint use the leftover lip cream to stain the lip.

-To draw the lip I started with a small amount of product to shape my contour and then applied more product to cover the lips.

2. Creamy Eyes E105 – Colour: Deep warm taupe.

This magical liquid eyeshadow is a quick-drying, water-resistant formula. I applied it using the applicator on my natural skin. The results are impressive: it has a perfect metallic cover and doesn't crease or smudge. Ellis was so proud of this shade, she often used it herself.

You can use your finger or the applicator to blend and apply the shade.

3. Lights Highlighter E303 – Deep glow.

If you are looking for a natural shimmer then this does the trick. Attracting light to zones you place it, it structures and illuminates your face. I particularly liked the finely milled particles that reflect the light without any glittery effect. It is a deep shade in the set, so it will give a bronzed glow for very fair skins.

You can apply the highlighter over the top of the creamy eye shadow for a more sophisticated eye.

4. Mascara E401 – Black.

Lengthening and separating the lashes, my eyes instantly looked bigger and brighter. This mascara is suitable for everyone. I created different looks: some subtle or with a prominent accent. It builds up easily in layers to get a deep, hypnotizing look. It has an intense black shade that easily slides on the lash. Ellis designed this mascara to be as practical as possible.

Goodies

It doesn't end there, inside the Ellis Faas Unforgettable Set I also received four Ellis clips and postcards with 6 visuals she created. I framed them and used them to style my makeup bar.

After wearing the products multiple times, I understand why they are so successful. The lightweight textures and long-lasting shades are what we all wish for. I will be trying more shades!
