The Inspiration

The better works fragrance house is a brand that creates scented candles to fragrance your personal spaces. Like Drake, the candles are created in Canada. While designing the fragrances, Drake found a significant similarity between writing songs and building fragrances. Each note makes the candles more decadent and unique; they work harmoniously to reveal beautifully balanced scents. While you light your candle for the first time, Drake advises you to listen to Midnite’s Live In Eugene album. Also, this was a huge inspiration for his brand.

The Scent

I selected the Williamsburg sleepover candle. With a surprising gender-less fragrance, the scent represents an “urban garden under shaded lights.”

Notes: Red roses, smooth blond woods and warm ambers come together to form a sensual streak in the perfume. Followed by patchouly groves from Indonesia and Ylang Ylang from the fields of Madagascar, the perfume bursts with confidence.

Drake also believes in affordable luxury. It gives everyone the occasion to improve their intimate spaces through scent. Another great thing about these candles is that you can add a personal name to them using their gold marker. These Soy wax candles are available in 5 different fragrances:

How To Care For Your Candle

If you want your candle to burn healthily and last a long time, follow these simple tips:

• Trim your candle’s wick to ¼” before every usage.
• Also, the candle should burn for at least 3-4 hours. As a result, this prevents the wax from tunnelling.

My Review

The candles are packaged in deep blue stained glass and completed with gold writing. Modern and elegant, the scent is rapidly noticeable once lit and lasts 3-4 hours. This floral beauty immediately lifted my mood! The scent is unique but not overpowering, making it a great gift, especially once you have personalized it to your liking. The wax melts slowly, meaning you have plenty of time to enjoy the fresh, sweet scent of the Williamsburg sleepover.

Mademoiselle de la Valliere candle is definitely a win for floral lovers. In the heart of this fragrance, you will find a mix of earthy, floral notes such as Galbanum, Jasmine, Musk, Orange Blossom, Tuberose, and Ylang Ylang. Mostly white flowers add a warmer touch to the candle. This lifts the Tuberose scent. Adding a feminine energy to your spaces sets a relaxing and sensual mood.

Trudon Candles

Trudon Mademoiselle de la Valliere Candle is rated as a medium-strength scent. It burns at a slow pace allowing you to get full use of the scented wax. Therefore, it is ideal for placing in your living space or bedroom.

Trudon candles are designed using Vegetable Wax and a Cotton Wick. Why is this important? By using high-quality products, you get the most out of your candles. As the wax melts, it releases the perfume into the air. Also, a cotton wick allows a sturdy burn and should always be cut to about 1cm from the wax.

Review

This version of the Trudons candle takes on a beautiful green coat. Trudon Mademoiselle de la Valliere Candle smells divine, and I understand why King Louis would be addicted. The tuberose scent is perfectly balanced with the other floral notes. It is perfect for the bedroom setting a comfortable mood in the room. I love how easy these candles are to look after. The wax always melts across the surface instead of digging deeper.

Overall, Mademoiselle de la Valliere has my approval!
