My Review

The Voluforme hair spray is my go-to product for so many reasons! Starting with its super strong holding talents that don't weigh down the hair. I love using these products when curling or styling my hair as they add volume and structure to my looks. The spray doesn't grease the hair and can easily be brushed out. I recommend this hairspray if you regularly use curlers and have yet to find long-lasting hair spray. Also, the spray lasts me long and is priced at an accessible rate.

I am constantly looking for clean, vegan-friendly products; this spray has a great composition. Overall, I recommend it; you can thank me later!

Shampooing au Miel is a gentle everyday volumizing shampoo works nicely for my thinning lifeless hair that needs a little extra help to make me feel confident and especially make me feel ‘me'. It is gentle for my scalp as well as my hair, does not dry them out or irritate my scalp. I do see a difference in volume, my hair looks fuller, are manageable and shiny. It is one of my favourite shampoos when it comes to volumizing and still gentle category. I follow up with a conditioner after rinsing off the shampoo.

I have one conditioner and one treatment in rotation depending on what my mood is and what my hair needs. Soin Repigmentant Dark Brown is a nourishing conditioner with colouring pigments that enhance the colour of hair. The dark brown shade I am using is for light brown to dark brown hair – I have black hair and this one works for me. It leaves my hair nourished, shiny, and bouncy. It did not irritate my hair or scalp. This colour-enhancing conditioner is best to be used between colouring – every 2-3 washes to prolong colour hold after every wash to intensify the tones. it has to be used from scalp to hair ends and replaces the normal everyday conditioner.

Crème de Soin à l’Amarante is on the other hand conditioning treatment that detangles as well as nourishes the hair. It is that everyday conditioner that makes the hair look healthy while keeping them nourished without weighing them down – even my thin wavy hair. There is also a UV-protectant in it to make sure hair is protected and stays healthy, shiny, and silky. An amazing conditioner!

For styling, I have been using two products from the brand – both are mists – Voluforme and Laque Souple. Voluforme is a styling spray for volume and hold. It is weightless and just makes the whole process and finish look so natural, hair is soft, flexible without any stickiness or crunchy feeling. It sets the hair and adds volume at the root instantly while looking natural at the same time. It is one of the best hair sprays for volume and holds that I have tried. It can be applied on damp or dry hair and even to set the hair at the end of styling – no rules – on the roots or on the hair.

Laque Souple is a lightweight styling spray with light to medium hold – it also does not leaves any residue or crunchiness to the hair – hair is soft and looks natural. The glossy finish makes the hair look healthy. It does provide a medium hold without stiffness – and it works on frizzy hair. I use either one of these sprays depending on what I am trying to achieve or use both.

Leonor Greyl Paris Huile Apaisante is a composition of natural oils with anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties offers an immediate soothing effect thanks to its comprehensive action. It normalizes and purifies the scalp, rebalances sebum production, reduces dandruff and redness and repairs skin’s hydrolipidic film to prevent dehydration.

The roll-on bottle allows for precise application on targeted areas. The formula is fragrance-free and contains no essential oils. This has come as a savior for my scalp this season, and the application is so easy, I have never had to give two thoughts before using it, just grab and apply, then massage lightly. I really like how soothed and calm my scalp feels which is something so important for me, you might understand what I mean if you have scalp issues.

Leonor Greyl Paris Shampooing Crème Moelle de Bambou is a luxurious blend of bamboo marrow, plant extracts, Vitamin B and silk proteins work together to nourish, detangle, regenerate, smooth down and protect your hair. It is suitable for all hair types prone to dryness and per my understanding, the weather plays a major role here, as winter is approaching, I feel my hair are prone to more dryness.

My hair feels soft, clean, shiny, healthy, and moisturized (not greasy) after washing with this shampoo.  It is gentle enough to not irritate my sensitive scalp. A little product is all I need for one time and the tube lasts for a long time. I do not use a conditioner with this shampoo, otherwise, it will be too heavy for my hair. And as I mentioned it is hydrating, so it is enough for my normal wavy hair.

Leonor Greyl Paris Masque Orchidee has Silk proteins, vegetal ceramides, and oils which work together to smooth, detangle, protect and restructure hair fiber. This mask is safe for colored hair.

It leaves hair soft, silky, and manageable. Not to mention about the heat, styling products, and whatnot we use on the hair, masking the hair is a great way to repair, manage, and protect the hair. I do like to use a mask on my hair weekly or biweekly as a treatment. The mask smells so amazing as the other Leonor Greyl products.

I am really happy with the results of the products, a staple brand in my hair care routine.  I reviewed Regenerescence Naturelle, Creme aux Fleurs, and Bain Traitant a la Propolis in the past and are definitely the products I still love. My hair has been through different phases, they are different now from what they were before my pregnancy and delivery. Hormonal, environmental, and lifestyle are the main factors that contribute to not just your health, mood, skin, but also hair. My scalp is sometimes itchy, flaky, and I did experience my share of hair fall now and then.  At the end, the things that work for me are hair care with a healthy lifestyle. There is no permanent solution but it is an ongoing process of caring. And here I am caring and sharing what I have been using since last month and is becoming a favorite ritual of my hair care routine.

The Purifying and Calming Treatment comprise of three products Regenerescence Naturelle, Creme aux Fleurs, and Bain Traitant a la Propolis. This treatment compensates the scalp's deficiencies, removes dandruff and soothes itchy sensations. It works to purify the scalp and restore an instant and long-lasting sense of well being.

Regenerescence Naturelle

Regenerescence Naturelle is described as a cocktail of botanical oils which help increase blood circulation, purify the scalp, stimulate hair growth and fortifies hair. The Borage and Mimosa Tenuiflora oils have the regenerating properties which when combined with purifying benefits of essential oils restore life to dull, lifeless hair. That also gently removes dead skin cells and product buildup.

Creme aux Fleurs

Creme aux Fleurs is described as a washing and calming treatment cream for irritated scalps. The natural ingredients in this washing cream moisturize and provide an instant sensation of well-being to the irritated scalp. It is a sulfate-free formula which neutralizes scalp's sensitivity while restoring softness to dry, damaged, and frizzy hair.

Bain Traitant a la Propolis

Bain Traitant a la Propolis is described as a gentle dandruff treatment shampoo. The formula is a mixture of propolis with a cocktail of botanical active ingredients to prevent the development of microbial flora and itching sensations, which is one of the conditions for dandruff. This shampoo gently removes dandruff conditions and ensures proper hygiene of scalp.

Now the question is how I do the Purifying and Calming Treatment? I apply Regenerescence Naturelle on my dry scalp, gently massage for few seconds. Then I mix a little amount of Creme aux Fleurs and Bain Traitant a la Propolis together. I apply the mixture to the scalp where I applied Regenerescence Naturelle. I Massage gently to ensure even distribution and application. After leaving it on for 15 minutes, O start emulsifying it by adding small amounts of water. Then I rinse thoroughly. The result is calm, soothed scalp with soft and shiny hair. I would also like to mention again, the products smell so beautiful, it does uplift the mood and feels like you are indulging in the ritual. The main question you might have in mind is how long does the scalp stay calm, the answer is until the conditions for dandruff and irritation are again feasible, means the scalp is hygienic and clean will keep it calm and soothed. The flakiness on my scalp is also no more present. A healthy scalp means a good place for hair growth. I have been very impressed with these products and this line. I am definitely going to try more from this line, especially the hair masks and styling products as the products have suited my scalp and hair very well.
