The well-known wardrobe of cologne forte fragrances is created from a sense of light, water, and freshness. In his latest addition, Francis found inspiration in the unique and magical phenomenon of rainbows. Thus, the perfect combination of water and sunlight, Aqua Media represents the rainbow's center with its glorious green shade and fresh aromatic notes.

Aqua Media is Latin for “water of the center” and is where the perfumes creation began. In addition, the French perfumer Francis Kurkdjian uses the unique method of building a perfume from its name.

The newest perfume has a mood-boosting effect on all who discover its scent. Composed of fragrant and tangy notes, the perfume invites us to welcome the world with open eyes and curiosity. Long-lasting, the green, aromatic notes bring a sense of balance and harmony to start your day. The Notes

• Verbena: Combined with tangy notes of Bergamot essence, the lemony and green facets of the Verbena are revealed—an extraordinarily joyful awakening to the perfume.
• Sweet fennel essence: Obtained by steaming the Fennel seeds, this aromatic essence liberates green and aniseed notes. When added to the previous citrus notes, the fennel essence becomes vibrant.
• Bergamot of Calabria: This sparkling burst of freshness is known as the “smile” of the perfume, obtained by the cold expression of the Southern Italian Bergamot zest.
• Musks: Largely used in the perfume industry, artificial musk is a long-lasting base note. Soft and comforting, they are often compared to a “clean” scent.
• Lastly, Hedione: Dating back to the 60s, this floral and woody note helps binds the other ingredients for a smooth and balanced perfume.

My Experience

After discovering the other Aqua cologne forte scents in this collection, I had to try the NEW Aqua Media. From its beautiful green bottle to the luminous and green notes, this perfume is the winner of summer 2023. Francis Kurkdjian perfumes have a unique character and are reliable for longevity. Overall, I enjoyed the tangy touch to this perfume and how it evolved into a more floral woody scent over time. Ideal for nature lovers, this fragrance brings a sense of happiness and peace to its wearer. Finally, I recommend vaporizing the perfume into neutral body lotion for a more intimate sillage.

Cultural differences, curiosity, and exciting energy running through the city veins started the 724 ideas. By releasing this scent, the French perfumer hopes to open people's minds to the universe surrounding them.

The Notes

The unisex ‘Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724 Eau de Parfum' is a floral fragrance that has a modern take on the musky accord. Using a bouquet of various flowers, Maison Kurkdjian can capture unseen elements within each note.

• White Sandalwood: From India, sandalwood has long been considered sacred in Asia. This long-lasting woody base note can take on multiple characters ranging from milky to slightly spicy.
• Aldehydes: Created from synthetic compounds, Aldehydes also have a range of scents. In this scent, it brings a sophisticated freshness.
• Bergamot from Calabria: This Italian zesty top note sparkles in many of Kurkdjian fragrances. In 724, the Bergamot plays a floral and aromatic role. Helping to bring freshness to the scent.

• Fresh white flowers: Imagine yourself holding a just-picked bouquet of orange blossom, fresh jasmine freesia, and lily of the valley. This trio of potent and brightening flowers creates an airy floral sensation.
• Jasmine from Egypt: With its oriental influence, this potent and multi-faceted flower is used for the orangey-floral and spicy facet it shows.

My Review

I am becoming a huge fan of Francis Kurkdjian's scents! When discovering Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724 Eau de Parfum, I was unsure what to expect, but yet again, the fragrance is a true olfactive adventure.

Overall, I love how he created a modern floral perfume from notes we thought we knew well. Also, the Eau de perfume has a good hold throughout the day and got me many compliments from my friends!
