Exfoliating the skin is like giving it a helping hand to renew itself. You see, certain elements can slow down the elimination of dead skin cells on the surface. And this can result in different skin problems. Using an exfoliator helps eliminate any excess skin or dirt on the surface. And so your skin is generally brighter, smoother and healthier.

The product is a fresh gel texture that polishes and refines your skin. Enriched with minerals found in precious stones such as diamond dust, quartz, etc. And actives such as rosa centifolia and the brand's Cellular Complex, immediately offer long-term benefits. Whilst removing dead skin cells that cause a dull look it jump-starts our cell turnover and boosts circulation in the skin for a healthy glow.

My Review

It is advised to use La Prairie Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliator 1 to 3 times a week. I used it once a week and got great results, but keep in mind every skin type is different here are the recommendations:

Combination/oily skin, two to three times a week.

Normal/dry skin, once or twice a week.

The Cellular mineral exfoliator is a gentle but effective exfoliator that instantly leaves your skin feeling fresh and soft. I love the subtle fresh scent it has to it, not at all overpowering.

So let's get to the results.

Short term. My skin felt clean and softer. It is quick and easy to apply, perfect for my busy mornings. Long term. I noticed that my blackheads were reduced and my skin a lot brighter. My pores were also tighter, leaving me with baby smooth skin.

When exfoliating regularly your skin will absorb the following skincare products faster and easier. It will also help your makeup last longer during the day. It is a must-have in your skincare routine.

I usually alternate the Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliator with my favourite chemical exfoliator from La Prairie depending on how my skin feels and its needs.

With their minimalistic packaging and high-quality products, I decided to invest in this powder. You mix the powder with your facial wash then use it as a scrub, blending crushed botanicals with the facial wash. That is a concept I have never heard before, and I certainly find it interesting. This is due to the fact that the powder lasts for a long time, while creams dry in and lose their effectiveness over time. The key ingredients are Walnut Shell, Aloe Vera, Tea Tree Leaf

• There is something very special about this little product. It is a medium for exfoliation that can be blended with your normal cleanser, mask to magically turn them into exfoliators.

My Thoughts

It was easy to mix and apply this powder with the Aesop cleanser. Mixing this grey herbal powder in my bathroom made me feel like a bit of an addict. All I had to do was mix it in my hand and I was all done. In my opinion, the scrub did its job well. Earlier, I was using sea salt, but it is so gentle on my skin that I felt even better using it. I liked the gentle rubbing sensation when using this powder. Now I like to use this every day, just to wash grease from my face. Even though it leaves my face feeling smooth after use, it would be enough.

Obviously, different products work for different people, but I've found that this product works well for me. The natural ingredients make it so effective and I would say it's definitely worth the price.
