Montblanc Legend Night is a brand new creation of the Montblanc House. Mont Blanc, for over 100 years, has designed long lasting and essential accessories, writing instruments, watches, and leather goods. In 2011, the Legend Fragrance launched and has won its reputation for its signature scent and unique visual. In 2015, Montblanc Legend Spirit which is a fresh and bold version of the original fragrance was launched. This new launch is the third olfactory from the house which reveals an equally charismatic, but more mysterious side to the extraordinary gentlemen. This new fragrance emphasizes the nocturnal aspect of his personality and its name is Montblanc Legend Night. The fragrance reveals a minimalist elegance of the irresistible men and announces a more mysterious aspect than its previous editions. Along with the fragrance, there are two accessories, from Canadian brand Rocky Mountain Barber. The comb is made with natural woods, reminding the amber and woody notes of the perfume, and is ideal for all hair types. The texture paste does not interfere with eh fragrance and is great for giving the extra texture and hold for hair.
The nose behind the fragrance is Antoine Maisondieu and Olivier Pescheux. The aromatic notes of clary sage and peppermint, enhanced with cool spices like cardamom and sparkling bergamot, set the fragrance's fresh and lively tone. “In the base notes, we wanted a strong and memorable signature, full of contrasts,” explain the two noses. “On one side some dense and vibrant woods with a duo of vetiver and patchouli wood, and on the other, the enveloping depth of musk and velvety black vanilla.” The signature counter-accord brings out the distinctive character of Montblanc man through light and shade.
The top notes are Bergamot, Clary Sage, Peppermint, and Cardamom. The middle notes are Apple, Fir, Cedar, Lavender, and Violet. The base notes are Vetiver, Black Vanilla, Akigalawood, Patchouli, and Musk.
The aesthetics of the Montblanc Legend Night bottle break with the duality of the house's black and white codes, clearing the path for an amber color that is reminiscent of wood, the ultimate authentic material or a fiery liquor. It is embossed with relief on the upper part of the bottle and on its stopper, the emblem inspired by the snow-capped Mont Blanc and the symbol of the highest standards of quality and perfection is engraved in the black metal. The English model Simon Clark embodies the Montblanc man again for this new fragrance.
I have been loving this on my husband, it is a very sexy scent for sure. The scent is nice, masculine, and sweet yet sophisticated. It could be worn all year round. The longevity is good, on my husband it was around 6-8 hours.
