Nishane Tuberoza Review

I love it when a fragrance has more than just an ‘eau de parfum’ to offer. And by ‘more to offer, I’m referring to being able to build up the scent with the help of complementing products. It’s great to be able to intensify my favourite scent with the help of a hair scent or body product, and that’s why I’m totally obsessed with Nishane – a luxury fragrance house that does just that!

Nishane Tuberoza Review

A brand created by Mert Guzel and Murat Katran, Nishane’s main aim is to portray the sights, sounds and smells of their Turkish culture through luxury fragrances.

Nishane Tuberoza Extrait de Parfum

I tried the Tuberoza range, and I was totally blown away. Luxurious and classy, this scent is perfect for those that want a real spicy take on the classic floral fragrance.

The sexy scent has Mexican tuberose, as well as ylang-ylang, sweet orange, gardenia, jasmine and marigold as top notes. Once the scent has dried down, it leaves a lingering musky aroma, thanks to the base notes of amber wood, vetiver and sandalwood.

Nishane Tuberoza Extrait de Parfum Review

The range not only offers an Extrait de Parfum, but also a hair perfume and body oil. I love this, as it means I can just reach for the oil or hair perfume for a more subtle everyday scent, or layer them both with the perfume if I want something heavier. Wearing all three of these together makes for a seriously long-lasting fragrance – but it’s not just the longevity that stands out. Because these products are brimming with luxury ingredients, they are a pleasure to apply, too.

Nishane Tuberoza Hair Perfume

I find that although hair perfumes are formulated specifically for hair, they can often be quite drying. It’s always something I’m conscious of when using hair fragrances for the first time. However, this one pleasantly surprised me. It’s got a unique formula, which contains silk to keep hair feeling soft and looking shiny. It also contains panthenol which is known to strengthen and condition strands from within.

Although this hair perfume has a slightly less concentrated formula than the perfume, I find it’s strong enough to work alone. While the Extrait de Parfum is more ‘heavy-duty’ – in that it clings to skin beyond showers and for well over 24 hours – the hair perfume is a light alternative that’ll definitely do the job day-to-day.

Is there anything better than a skin-softening body oil that smells dreamy, too? I’m so in love with this product – I think it might be my favourite from the whole range. It’s packed with a rich oil blend that combines sweet almond, jojoba, sunflower seed and vitamin E oils which all work to deeply nourish skin and hair. The formula is also extremely antioxidant-rich, which helps to shield skin and hair from sun damage and pollution. It’s also 73% natural, which means there are no nasty ingredients that dry or damaged skin and hair, and the combination of clever ingredients actually helps to repair damaged skin cells. Genius!

From the house, I do adore Nishane Hundred Silent Ways Extrait de Parfum.
