Givenchy Beauty has launched a new foundation and I couldn't be happier. I have always loved Givenchy base makeup. This time is no different as there are even more reasons to be more excited. First, the name of the foundation. If you are a Givenchy makeup fan, you do not need an introduction to Prisme Libre. It is one of my favourite powders that looks super pretty and natural on the skin. I reviewed it here in the past. On more reason is the radiant glowy finish. I am all about the glowy finish and this foundation tick marks all the preliminary boxes that excite me. Continue reading to know my thoughts on the new Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Glow Foundation.
The formula of this foundation is lightweight yet creamy. It blends in easily and beautifully into the skin. This foundation just melts into the skin. The coverage is medium and is buildable. I love the finish of this foundation. I am totally a fan. The finish is natural and glowy. It does not look heavy or mask-like. It is perfect for everyday use. I find that wearing this foundation makes me look and feel like myself. My skin looks very natural and the glow is like from-within. I have been wearing Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Glow Foundation for a few days now.
The longest I used it was for around 10 hours. I am happy to say that as the day passed, it literally became skin-like. I loved how healthy my skin looked the whole day. Givenchy Prisme Libre Skin-Caring Glow Foundation is hydrating without feeling heavy or looking oily. It does not stick to my dry areas on the face nor it looks cakey. As the weather currently is a little cold, I did not feel the need to use a powder. I will need to set the foundation on the oily areas of my combination skin in the summer.
I have swatched two shades for your reference. For my medium skin with golden undertones, 307 suits me the best. This foundation is truly a keeper. The bouncy lightweight formula is a delight to apply. I love how it makes my skin look supple and radiant.
