Gucci Beauty has (re) launched and it is all you can expect from the prestigious Italian fashion house. First and foremost, there is the diversity and inclusion component which has impressed me the most. You might have noticed that when Gucci Beauty was launching, they focused on “Beauty of imperfection”. The concept was so unique and yet so relatable. Gucci's Creative Director, Alessandro Michele along with Gucci Beauty's Global Makeup Artist, Thomas de Kluyver is the perfect team working wonders. Another thing I have really liked is that they did not launch a full-fledged line of 100'ish products. They started in a slow and steady manner that created a whole new level and craze of luxury beauty. Gucci Baume à Lèvres Lip Balm is a very moisturizing lip balm that feels so comfortable and lightweight on the lips. Generally, a lip balm this nourishing has a rich texture. The collection shades are inspired by iconic Hollywood movies and characters from the gilded era. I have been using two shades – 1 Joslyn Clair and the other 4 Penelope Plum. The lip balms are hydrating and improve the smoothness of the lips. I find them very comfortable on the lips. 1 Joslyn Clair is my everyday lip balm while 4 Penelope Plum is for the time when I need a hint of colour.

The formula glides easily on the lips without feeling sticky or heavy. The good thing is that the tinted lip balm works as a blush too while the transparent one can be used as a lip gloss too. On me, It is not ashy or orangey at all. It gives a very natural and beautiful colour for a sun-kissed glow. Even while working from home, I am loving a quick application in the morning and every time I look myself in the mirror, I feel a whole lot better and more confident to get through the day. The formula blends in very quickly and evenly, with no harsh lines. I like using it to give my lower jawline and cheeks a little shape. The powder has a soft floral scent which is very uplifting. Gucci Sérum De Beauté Fluide Soyeux – Silk Priming Serum is a lightweight face primer that gives a soft glow to the skin. The transparent gel-like formula feels very cooling and silky on the skin. It glides and applies nicely to the skin without any residue or stickiness. I feel it blurs out my problem areas. It can be used on its own for a soft radiant look or can be used as a base for makeup. It does not accentuate any dryness or problem areas on the skin. I take a pump and like applying it with my fingertips. The transparent, frosted glass bottle looks beautiful with the pale pink cap embossed with the Gucci logo.

Gucci Fluide De Beauté Fini Naturel – Natural Finish Fluid Foundation is the newest foundation I have been using every day since last week. It is part of the new line of natural finish foundations. The good thing is it is available in 40 shades. The foundation is lightweight and buildable from medium to medium-full coverage. The finish is naturally radiant. I am impressed with how lightweight it feels and how natural it looks on my skin. It blends into the skin without looking extra and without clinging to any dry or problem areas.

It applies nicely with fingertips which I prefer for a light coverage for everyday wear. For a medium or shy to full coverage, a brush works well. I have tested it for a few days now and wore it for full days. It has good longevity – stays put all day.
