Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick is the newest launch from the brand. Hourglass is a leader when it comes to their powder formula, for instance, their bronzers, blushes, and finishing aka highlighting powders are my all-time favourites. Also, Hourglass Stick Foundation is another cult-favourite but I have not tried it yet. Aligning with the stick format and the packaging, Hourglass recently launched its first cream blush. The overall packaging and vibe match well with the brand's other products. I am excited to share the Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick and the shades I am regularly using in my routine.
Where To Buy It?
Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick has a triangular tip to apply the blush. It allows for a precise, effortless, and smooth application. From the size of it, I only need a swipe or two for an everyday pop of color. The overall packaging in its gold triangular stick looks very nice. The lightweight packaging is sturdy as well as easy to travel with.
Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick is available in 6 shades and I have swatched 2 shades for your reference. Both the shades are very bright but once on the skin and blended, they look very soft and natural. On my medium combination skin, they give a nice hint of colour. The blush is easily buildable, so I suggest starting with a light hand and building up as needed.
- Adore – vibrant berry
- Revel – warm scarlet
Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick is a lightweight cream blush. By lightweight, it truly is very light and silky. The formula is nicely pigmented. It transforms from cream to powder once applied to the skin. It applies and blends seamlessly into the skin. The finish looks and feels like second-skin. There is a beautiful hint of color on the cheeks while looking naturally radiant at the same time. It does not emphasize pores or problem areas. I have pigmentation and dark spots on my cheeks and this blush blurs out everything. The result is soft natural pop of color.
I am very impressed by the transforming nature of the formula. The cream is very satiny smooth and lightweight when applied to the skin. On the skin, it feels like a lightweight powder. There is no shimmer or radiant to the product itself but the colour of the blush has some built-in radiance that does not make it look flat or dull. The finish is vibrant and semi-matte. Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick looks very natural without any dry feeling and without looking cakey. Definitely, an example of powder finish from a cream formula. And therefore, the longevity of this blush is impressive too.
Hourglass Vanish Blush Stick stays put together on my skin for over 7 hours before fading a bit. I can see it on my skin even at the of the day, after 9-10 hours. As the day passes by, it looks even more beautiful and by mixing with skin's natural oils, there is a lit-from-within effect by the mid to end of the day. This has to be one of my favorite blushes. I have to say, Adore and Revel will look beautiful on all skin tones. I am so impressed with these that I want to try the rest of the shades and other cream products from the brand.
If you prefer powder formula, I am currently loving the new blushes from Sisley.
