Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder Honey Review

Laura Mercier has launched a new shade of the cult favourite and iconic loose powder – honey for medium skin tones. Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder in shade honey sets makeup using a unique custom-blended peach pigment that looks very natural on the skin and brings life to the skin.

Translucent Loose Setting Powder Honey has the same formula as the original cult-favorite formula as the translucent and Medium-Deep shades. The powder provides sheer coverage and a natural matte finish. It does not look overlay matte but a very natural matte. It maintains the skin's natural radiance to be visible and felt. The powder is very finely milled and lightweight. It does not add weight or texture to the skin, nor does it looks cakey. It does not settles into the lines or emphasize problem areas.

I have never encountered an issue with the powder oxidizing and the same for this custom blend of peach pigment, it does not oxidize or change the color of the foundation or tinted moisturizer. It blurs the problem areas and imperfections without making the skin look dull and lifeless. I have shared about the Translucent Loose Setting Powder formula in the past too. In this post, I wanted to share that this newest shade is the most perfect match for my medium skin tone with golden undertones.

Shade Honey vs Medium Deep

Translucent Loose Setting Powder in Medium deep shade was a little dark for me, but I enjoyed it during the summers. And the translucent shade has been my go-to for years to set my makeup. This newest shade of honey matches my skin tone perfectly and I can use it all year long. I have swatched all the shades above for your reference. I did not notice any difference in the formula, performance, and feel of it. Just that now I am using the shade that is much more forgivable and suits my skin tone. I prefer using Translucent Loose Setting Powder with a puff these days but I have used this loose powder with a powder brush for years now.

I am also enjoying the New Laura Mercier Blush Color Infusion. The formula gives a beautiful radiance with a hint of color.
